RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Don’t Let Them Live Without God** Saturday, 1st October . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES  **Don’t Let Them Live Without God** Saturday, 1st October  . Pastor Chris

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart (Ephesians 4:17-18).

Our opening scripture gives us the picture of the man that’s not born again; what his spirit is like before God—a very gloomy depiction indeed. Ephesians 2:12 says, “That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world.”

How could any one live without God? Such people are dead in trespasses and sins and walk according to the prince of the power of the air, which is Satan. Awful! It shows how important it is for us to keep preaching the Gospel and interceding for lost souls. Ephesians 4:18 declares that they’re alienated from the life of God. Ephesians 2:12 says they’re hopeless.

Those who’re not born again are “children of wrath”; that means they’re appointed to the judgement of God (Ephesians 2:2-3). This should get you thinking about your friends, loved ones, colleagues, and associates that don’t know Jesus; they’re your responsibility. Don’t let them die without God, for if they do, they’ll go to hell, and that’s not the will of God for anybody. The Bible says He’s unwilling that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

You’re the custodian of His message of salvation to those in your world; don’t keep quiet. Preach the Gospel like never before. Intercede in prayer for lost souls. Make it your life’s purpose that the sinners in your world won’t die without God; and they’re not going to keep living without hope. Share the Gospel with them. Let them know that eternal life is available from God now; therefore, they don’t have to wallow in sin and guilt anymore. Let them know that the righteousness of God has been unveiled, and it’s imparted freely to anyone who receives the Gospel and affirms the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

                   PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for making me effective in the ministry of reconciliation. I pray for those around the world who haven’t known Jesus, that the light of the glorious Gospel will shine brightly in their hearts, destroying the shackles of darkness, and that they’ll respond today to the call of the Spirit to them for salvation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Further Study: || Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen. ||

|| Acts 26:16-18 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; 19 Delivering thee from the people, and [from] the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, 18 To open their eyes, [and] to turn [them] from darkness to light, and [from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. ||

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Give Him Your Emotions** Friday 30th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES  **Give Him Your Emotions** Friday 30th September . Pastor Chris

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit Himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26).

There’s praying in the spirit, and there’s groaning in the spirit. When you pray in tongues, your spirit prays (1 Corinthians 14:14). So, it’s your spirit that prays in tongues, even though the language (utterance) is given to your spirit by the Holy Ghost. Moreover, when you pray in tongues, your spirit is exercised and activated.

Groaning in the spirit, however, isn’t initiated from your spirit but through the Holy Spirit. This happens often to those who are totally yielded to the Spirit. You may start out by praying in tongues and activating your spirit, but it gets to the point where the Holy Spirit takes over. At that point, you’re no longer just speaking in tongues, but communicating with deep sighs and groanings of the Spirit; no words are being formed, and you can’t explain why you’re crying and groaning; the Spirit Himself has taken over the prayer, because there’s something He needs to pray about through you. Hallelujah! This is the highest kind of prayer.

The thing about this kind of prayer is that you can’t just decide you want to groan in the Spirit as in the case of speaking in tongues; it’s the Spirit that initiates it. However, you can get into that spirit of prayer and yield fully to Him. To achieve this, you must have your emotions in communication with the Holy Spirit’s emotions, because this groaning is actually an emotion of the Spirit being expressed. It’s an expression of deep emotions; but this time, it’s the emotion of the Holy Spirit, and He expresses it through us.

So, give your emotions to Him. Let Him express Himself through you. David said, “...Unite my heart...” (Psalm 86:11). That’s what happens a lot of time in worship. Through worship, we unite our emotions with His. These are the secrets from God’s kingdom given to His children to live a successful life. Learn to always yield yourself to the Spirit, and give your emotions to Him in prayer.

                   PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the opportunity to enjoy your grace, bask in your love, and be enraptured in the bliss of fellowship with your Spirit. As I spend time to pray in the spirit today, my heart, mind, and emotions are in sync with your Spirit. I’m guided and inspired to declare accurate words that’ll bring about transformations in my life and circumstances, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Further Study: || Romans 8:26-27 So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance. 27 And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God's will. ||

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Respond From Your Spirit** Thursday 29th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES  **Respond From Your Spirit** Thursday 29th September . Pastor Chris

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak (2 Corinthians 4:13).

Romans 10:8 tells us that the word of salvation is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach. Verses 9-10, also place much emphasis on the heart; that is, the human spirit, because you believe with your spirit. Your spirit makes contact with God. That’s the reason believing is very important. Faith isn’t a response of the brain or of the mind; it’s the response of the human spirit to the Word of God.

Recall the encounter between the Lord Jesus and the man with the withered arm; Jesus called him forth while He was teaching in the synagogue and said, “…Stretch forth thy hand…” (Matthew 12:13). The concluding part says, “…And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.” How did it happen? He responded from His spirit to the words of Jesus. That’s faith. The man heard Jesus in his spirit and acted from within! His spirit took a hold of the instruction, and responded accordingly.

We find a similar example in Mark 2:11; Jesus said to a man who was lame, “…Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.” The man acted on the Word and got a miracle. There was no way he could have gotten up if he didn’t respond from his spirit. Understand this: the man’s spirit wasn’t crippled; it was his body that was afflicted with palsy. Thank God, He didn’t argue, but acted from his spirit on the Master’s instruction! Mark 2:12 (CEV) tells us that while the people watched, the man got up, picked up his mat, and hurried away. They were all amazed and praised God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”

I’ve seen people struggle with faith, trying to get someone to stand, stretch forth his hand, or to open his eyes when he couldn’t open them. What they didn’t realize was that they were working from the outside; that doesn’t work. The response from within—your spirit—not your mind or physical body, is what produces result. Once you can believe the Word with your heart and voice it out with your mouth, it’ll produce result. That’s what Jesus said in Mark 11:23.

                CONFESSION

Irrespective of what I see, hear or feel, I’m convinced that I’m a victor and a success in Christ Jesus! I’m what God says I am; I have what He says I have, and I can do what He says I can do. Hallelujah.

Further Study: || Mark 11:22-23 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. ||

|| Romans 10:8-10 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. ||

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Let His Righteousness Reign Through You** Wednesday 28th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES  **Let His Righteousness Reign Through You** Wednesday 28th September . Pastor Chris

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30).

Righteousness is the expression of the will and nature of the Father. This is because to express righteousness and goodness, God reveals His nature and will to man; He’s the judge, and by His very nature, He decides what’s good or evil, right or wrong. Therefore, His revelation of Himself, His nature, His character, and His will, is the expression of righteousness.

In the days of Moses, the Israelites had to read the Law to know right or wrong; but that’s not for the new creation in Christ! In Jeremiah 31:33, the Lord said, “…I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts….” This has already happened for us in Christ Jesus: righteousness is now in your spirit. Romans 8:2-4 tells us, “...For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us….”

Today, not only has God made us His righteous ones, we give vent to His righteousness; we unveil and express His righteousness. The people of the world are to look at you, and know what rightness is. We bear fruits of righteousness, because we’re the trees of righteousness (Isaiah 61:3). Let righteousness reign through you; give expression to God’s best in your life. Decide that the life of Christ will be fully expressed through you, and that you’ll be effective in fulfilling His purpose in the earth.

Jesus said, “Ye are the light of the world...” (Matthew 5:14); you’re the one to establish His Kingdom, and the reign of His righteousness where you are. You’re His representative and His representation. What an amazing reality!

                CONFESSION

I’m found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith. This righteousness produces in me the rightness of God, and the ability to do right and fulfil the will of the Father always! Hallelujah.

Further Study: || Philippians 1:9-11 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and [in] all judgment; 10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; 11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God. ||

|| Romans 8:3-4 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. ||

|| Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue [that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This [is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness [is] of me, saith the LORD. ||

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Made Alive In Christ ** Tuesday 27th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES  **Made Alive In Christ ** Tuesday 27th September . Pastor Chris

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2:1).
The word “quickened” above means “made alive”: “AND YOU [He made alive], when you were dead (slain) by [your] trespasses and
sins” (Ephesians 2:1 AMP). This is a consciousness God wants us to have as His children. We’ve been made alive in Christ; the life of Christ is at work in your system; every fibre of your being is inundated with the divine life and energy of God. Can you see why no one, and nothing, can destroy you? You’re unconquerable!

Consider that Jesus Christ, the Son of God in truth, gave Himself for you on the cross and died as your saviour, and that God raised Him from the dead to give you a new life. That life isn’t at all subject to defeat, failure or death. John 1:14 says about Him: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” In John 10:10 He emphasized that He came so that we might have life—His divine life—to the full. He couldn’t have done all these for nothing.

Therefore, as a Christian, live your life to show that what Jesus did wasn’t for nothing; live up to His dream! Jesus the creator of the whole world, the maker of all things died for you, to give you a new life—the impregnable life of God. That’s something big! He thought we were valuable and important to the Father, so He came just for us. Why then should anyone live an empty or unhappy life?

The way to show your gratitude for all He’s done for you is to live up to His dream, by maintaining your superiority and victory over Satan and the cohorts of darkness. You’re His seed, and He’s prolonging His days through you today (Isaiah 53:10). When you show up, Jesus shows up! You’re the express image of His person, called to show forth the beauty and excellence of His divine life in you.

Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for sending Jesus to die in my stead, a display of your love, and testimony of my worth and value to you. I live triumphantly today and always, conscious of your infinite grace and love, and the life of righteousness that I have in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **There Are Different Graces** Monday 26th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES  **There Are Different Graces** Monday 26th September . Pastor Chris

Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace (Philippians 1:7).

The Apostle Paul, in our opening verse, was addressing the church in Philippi, and said they were partakers of his (Paul’s) grace; the grace of God bestowed on him. There’re different graces on people’s lives, aside from the general grace of Jesus Christ which we all received for salvation. 1 Peter 5:5 says, “...Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.” Observe that the Apostle Peter wasn’t writing here to unbelievers, but to the Church, to people who already had the grace of God upon their lives.

Thus, it’s clear that God does give more grace. He increases the grace on your life for two reasons: firstly, on the basis of your humility; secondly, on the basis of His calling upon your life. James 4:6 says, “But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” The general grace of God is what brought you salvation and protects you in salvation. However, when God calls you, He gives you a responsibility and the grace to fulfil that responsibility.
In Ephesians 3:8, Paul said, “Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ.” Paul makes a personal reference to the grace given to him, and what that grace was for; it was to preach the unsearchable riches of Christ. He makes a similar assertion in Romans 15:15-16: “Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God, That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God....”

The Lord has given you grace for that which He’s called you to do. Recognize that grace, and function in it. Keep walking in love and humility, and He’ll continually increase that grace for you to be more effective in fulfilling His calling on your life.

Prayer
I’ve received abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness; therefore, I’m reigning in life, over and above the corrupting influences of this world. Thank you, Lord, for the grace bestowed on me for ministry; I walk conscious of this grace and in its benefits in my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **It’s A Personal Fight** Sunday 25th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES  **It’s A Personal Fight** Sunday 25th September . Pastor Chris

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses (1 Timothy 6:12).

Observe that the Apostle Paul didn’t say to Timothy, “I’ll fight the good fight of faith for you”; the fight of faith is a personal fight; howbeit, a good one. It’s a good fight because you always win. It’s the only fight God expects us to fight and the weapon you need is the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. You engage in the fight of faith by holding onto God’s Word, maintaining your confessions, in the face of staggering oppositions.

Perhaps, you lost your job and every effort to get a new one has proved abortive; or maybe you’re married and haven’t been able to have children. You may have even been told it’s medically impossible for you to conceive, because the fallopian tubes are damaged; whatever the case may be, refuse to panic or be agitated. Fight the good fight of faith. Against hope, believe in hope that you’re a victor in Christ Jesus, blessed and highly favoured of the Lord.

Don’t succumb to sickness, poverty or defeat. Don’t give in to, or accept anything that’s contrary to your divine heritage in Christ. Be strong in faith; maintain your confessions of the Word. The circumstances of life may not always correspond with what the Word of God says, or the visions God has given you; that’s the time to fight the fight of faith. That’s when to declare, “I’m what God says I am; I have what He says I have; and I can do what He says I can do!”

Consider Jesus; the fact that Lazarus was dead and had been buried for four days didn’t make any difference at all. He called Lazarus out from the grave just as you’d call someone sleeping in a nearby room. It doesn’t matter what you see, hear or feel; it doesn’t matter how negative or impossible things may look in the natural; keep affirming the Word. Remember, this is something you must do for yourself, and by yourself. Depend on the Word as the basis and assurance for all your actions and you’ll always be triumphant.

               CONFESSION

I give thanks unto the Father, who has qualified me to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light! I’m walking in the fullness of the blessings of the Gospel, triumphant always and in every place, making manifest the savour of the knowledge and glory of Christ. Hallelujah.

Further Study: || 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory; 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen [are] temporal; but the things which are not seen [are] eternal. ||

|| Romans 4:17-21 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, [even] God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. 18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. 19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. ||

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Supernatural And “Uninfectable”** Saturday 24th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES  **Supernatural And “Uninfectable”** Saturday 24th September . Pastor Chris

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and IF THEY DRINK ANY DEADLY THING, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17-18).

The above scripture is extraordinary; it reveals something striking about the believing ones: they’re supernatural beings. As a believer, there’s something about you; you’re not ordinary, because you have the divine life. It’s the reason you can’t be poisoned or destroyed; the life of God in your spirit has supplanted the human life! You’re now a partaker of the divine nature; an associate of the God-kind.

It doesn’t matter what the enemy concocts against you; it makes no difference how the poison gets into your system; it shall have no power over you. In Luke 10:19, Jesus said, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” How much better can it get? This is either true or false, but it’s true. Therefore, live with the consciousness that you’re supernatural and “uninfectable”; refuse to think otherwise.

Maybe you ate or drank something that’s causing you pain and discomfort; well, it was because you didn’t know the truth. Now that you know, declare the Word until the divine life in you gains the ascendancy.

The problem of many is that they really don’t believe. When Jesus used, “they” in our opening scripture, He was letting the disciples know what kind of people would come from the resurrection. Christians aren’t people who believe in Jesus and are trying to get saved. Christians are people who have come from death. They’re a different breed. That’s why the Bible says, “But ye are a chosen generation…” (1 Peter 2:9). The word “generation” is the same word for “breed.” You’re a special breed, superior to the devil, sickness, infirmities and anything that’s of the devil.

What you need is to upgrade your life; upgrade your thinking, and see with the eyes of the Spirit. You’re not of this world; you’ve been severed, separated from the death, decay, and corrupting influences in the world. Take charge from the realms of the spirit and subdue your world and your environment. Live victoriously every day through the Word, and by the Spirit.

                   PRAYER

Blessed Father, you gave me the authority to cast out devils, speak in tongues, and walk in victory and dominion over Satan, the world, and its systems. Thank you for your divine life in me, and the power of your Word and the Holy Spirit in me today, and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **A Strong Desire For The Word** Friday 23rd September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES  **A Strong Desire For The Word** Friday 23rd September . Pastor Chris

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever Amen (2 Peter 3:18).

As a child of God, you must relish the Word of God; you must enjoy the Word. Your most exciting times should be when you’re in fellowship with the Word. God’s Word is everything; it’s what you need to be all that God has destined you to be in life. Having come to Christ, you must have a strong desire to grow in your spirit.

Just like a new-born baby is fed with natural food to enhance its growth and wellbeing, so also does God expect the one who’s born again to feed, and keep feeding, on the Word. We’re born of the Word: “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever” (1 Peter 1:23). And then 1 Peter 2:2 says, “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.” Nothing else will make you grow spiritually, except the Word. God’s Word will build you up to be spiritually, mentally, and emotionally sound and balanced.

Your approach to the Word should be like the Psalmist’s who said, “I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil” (Psalm 119:162). Cherish God’s Word. Know the Word for yourself. You may stand on someone else’s faith for a while; you may even stand on your Pastor’s faith for a while, but it may not continue after some time. It’s the reason some people wonder why the prayers of others for them don’t seem to work like it used to. It’s because God never intended for your life to be sustained by the faith of another; you’ve got to stand on the Word for yourself.

You have to grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ—for yourself. Study and learn more about Him, and watch your life become a full expression of the Word. Meditate on the Scriptures until you’re programmed to only think God’s thoughts, and influenced only by His character, ideas, and opinions.

CONFESSION
Dear Lord, you’re my God!Early will I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my spirit longs for your Word as the deer pants for the water brooks. I delight in your Word and yield to it for exhortation, doctrine, and counsel; in it I’ve found life, peace, righteousness, and everlasting joy. Blessed be God!

Further Study: || John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. ||

|| Proverbs 8:10-17 Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. 11 For wisdom [is] better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. 12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions. 13 The fear of the LORD [is] to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. 14 Counsel [is] mine, and sound wisdom: I [am] understanding; I have strength. 15 By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. 16 By me princes rule, and nobles, [even] all the judges of the earth. 17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me. ||

But that which ye have already hold fast till I come (Revelation 2:25).

The Lord wonʼt ask you to hold fast to that which youʼve received if there wasnʼt the possibility of losing it. For instance, people lose their healing; they receive healing from God and after sometime, maybe due to carelessness or not walking in the Word, they lose the healing. So, as a Christian, itʼs important you stay in the Word. The Word of God is your life, and every day presents opportunities for you to live-out the Word; to keep the faith and maintain your confession of who Jesus is and all He means to you.

Nothing should ever make you take your gaze and focus off the Master; Heʼs all that truly matters. Protect your love for Him, and your passion for the Gospel. Love the Lord selflessly, with an undying passion. Refuse to allow anger or bitterness douse your zeal, fervency, and effectiveness in ministering to others. Hebrews 12:15 says, “Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.”

Imagine a Christian who was fervently involved in soul-winning, and suddenly stopped winning souls; became cold about the things of God, because someone offended him. All the while he was winning souls and establishing the kingdom of heaven everywhere, there was a crown of righteousness awaiting him; but because he stopped, heʼll lose it; someone else is going to get it.

Donʼt let anything quench your love and passion for the Lord. To see someone else doing what the Lord had told you to do which you didnʼt do, is one of the deepest pains in life. When God called Saul to be king of Israel, He promised him an eternal dynasty, but he lost it, and David got it. Donʼt take the privilege of your service to God for granted. In Luke 19:40 (MSG), He said, “...If they kept quiet, the stones would do it for them, shouting praise.”

Whatever Heʼs deposited in you, whatever responsibility Heʼs given you, hold fast to it, for the end of all things is near. The Word of His grace and His salvation has been communicated to you. Youʼve been endowed with the ability and grace to lead people to Christ, unveiling to them the mysteries of the Kingdom; keep at it; thereʼs a crown of glory waiting for you at the end.

CONFESSION
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God, in Christ Jesus, has called me. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and Iʼm helped and energised. He has begun a good work in me, and Iʼm yielded to Him to perfect His work in, and through me now and forever, in Jesusʼ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **No Condemnation...No Death** Wednesday 21st September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES  **No Condemnation...No Death** Wednesday 21st September . Pastor Chris

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit (Romans 8:1).

Nobody will go to hell today or be condemned because of sin, for Jesus was already condemned for our sins; He paid the full penalty for sin. Therefore, the primary reason people will go to hell is unbelief; it’s for not believing and accepting God’s testimony of His Son. It’s for rejecting God’s love which He demonstrated in the sacrifice of His Son, for the propitiation of our sins.

The Bible says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). To reject His love is to embrace eternal condemnation. When you love the Lord with all your heart, you’re free from any form of condemnation. And that love has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost (Romans 5:5), such that not only are we able to love the Lord, we also walk in, and manifest His love to others.

Furthermore, the one who walks in love has passed from death unto life: “We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death” (1 John 3:14). Romans 8:2 says, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”

Eternal life was activated in your spirit when you were born again. Death isn’t at work in you; life is, because you’re a child of God.
The law of the Spirit of life has made you free from the law of sin and death. So, you’re death-free! When God says He’s made you death-free, it means you’re off death’s limits! Whatever kind of death it may be, whether death in business, finances, health, etc.; you’re off their limits, because life is at work in you. Blessed be God!

Confession
I’m crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me! Christ is my life, and I dwell in Him in the realm of His divine love. Therefore, I’m free from sin, death, and the Law! I’m a partaker of His divine nature!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TUESDAY, 20TH SEPTEMBER. WE REIGN AND RULE IN HIS NAME.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TUESDAY, 20TH SEPTEMBER.

WE REIGN  AND RULE IN HIS NAME.

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:18-19).

In our opening scripture, Jesus said, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” The word “power” here is the Greek “exousia”; it means authority. “All power,” not “some power,” has been given to Jesus, in heaven and in earth.

The Bible says in Colossians 2:15, “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” When Jesus died, He didn’t ascend to heaven immediately; He had been made sin for us (2 Corinthians 5:21), and had to go to hell on behalf of all men. When He got to hell, there was an actual combat between Jesus and the forces of darkness. The Bible says “...the hostile princes and rulers He shook off from Himself, and boldly displayed them as His conquests…” (Colossians 2:15 WNT).

In hell, Jesus invaded Satan’s domain, whipped him and all his demons, and came out triumphantly from the grave. When He came out, He said to His disciples, “All hail!” (Matthew 28:9). It was a shout of victory, because He’d conquered Satan for us and given us dominion over the powers of darkness. Now, it doesn’t matter whatever hierarchy of demons exist, we’re superior to them; they’re under our feet.

No wonder He says, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19). As we spread the message of Christ, taking the Gospel to the nations of the world, we ought to be conscious of our authority and dominion in Christ Jesus. We’re His ambassadors; we’re to keep reigning and ruling in His Name, making pupils of the nations, and filling the earth with the glory of His presence. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
I’m born of God and therefore, I’ve overcome the world. My faith is producing results; I’m walking in victory and dominion over Satan and circumstances, for the greater One lives in me. Hallelujah!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Be Christ-inside Minded** Monday 19th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES  **Be Christ-inside Minded**  Monday 19th September . Pastor Chris

...for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people (2 Corinthians 6H16).

God lives in you. You have to become conscious of this. Youʼre the temple of the living God; Heʼs made His home in you now. He no longer dwells in earthly tabernacles. The day Jesus was crucified was the day God left earthly temples. While Jesus was on the cross, the Bible says there was darkness in the earth for three hours. The rocks began to split; the earth began to quake. The presence of God had been in the Holy of Holies, separated from the Holy Place with a thick curtain. But when Jesus said on the cross, “It is finished,” that thick curtain was cut from the top to the bottom, and the Holy of Holies was opened, and the presence of God departed from that temple.

This symbolizes that the most Holy Place is open to everybody. Before then, only the High Priest could go into that most Holy Place where the presence of God was, and that He did once every year. But through Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit, the Church was born. And then, the human body became the living tabernacle of Almighty God. Today, everyone whoʼs born again has become Godʼs dwelling place.

Do you see why you ought never to be discouraged or defeated in life? Itʼs because the greater One lives in you. He lives in you in all His glory, majesty, power, and dominion. No wonder the Word says though your body may be dead because of sin, now that Christ lives in you, He gives it life, because of righteousness (Romans 8H10). In other words, Christ in you is your healing and health. Christ in you is your prosperity and assurance of a life full of glory and excellence. Have this consciousness.

Colossians 1H26-27 says, “...To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is CHRIST IN YOU, the hope of glory.” What God wanted before the foundation of the world was for Christ to take up His abode in the quarters of our hearts; and it has happened. Heʼs not far away anymore; you donʼt have to seek or search for Him anywhere else; He lives in you. Become “Christ-inside” minded.

CONFESSION
Iʼm the seed of Abraham and therefore an heir according to the promise. I belong to the wealthiest and most sublime family there is, and I walk in blessings untold. Iʼm empowered to prosper, and positioned to be fruitful and productive, glorifying God with my life, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Maintain A Good Conscience** Sunday 18th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES  **Maintain A Good Conscience**  Sunday 18th September . Pastor Chris

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows (1 Timothy 6:10).

Anyone who can do anything, not minding whether it’s right or wrong to get money, exhibits the love of money that the Lord warns against. From day to day, people struggle and get involved in excessive activities in a bid to make more money. This shouldn’t be the case with you. Never find yourself doing things that aren’t consistent with your nature in Christ, just because you want to get more money.

The Bible says, “But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness” (1 Timothy 6:11). He wants you to live a godly life; He wants you to focus on the expression and demonstration of His righteousness. He wants you to be forthright in all your dealings.

As you serve the Lord, be motivated by your love for Him, and your passion for the expansion of His Kingdom. Refuse to be distracted by the cares of this life. Jesus said, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33). When you burn with passion for the Lord, for the establishment of His Kingdom in the earth and in the hearts of men, all the beautiful things of life that men seek after, shall be yours; you wouldn’t need to seek after them.

So, don’t be unjust because of money. Maintain a good conscience: “Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck” (1 Timothy 1:19). As the seed of Abraham, the world is yours. There may be many in the world today who, against good conscience, will do anything for money; but you’re different. You play by a different set of rules. You don’t have any reason to fret or be perturbed about anything, because all things are yours (1 Corinthians 3:21).

CONFESSION
My conscience is purified, because I have the mind of Christ. I walk in the path of righteousness for His Name’s sake, living in all good conscience void of offence toward God, and toward man, to the glory and praise of God. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Chart Your Course Aright ** Saturday 17th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES  **Chart Your Course Aright **  Saturday 17th September . Pastor Chris

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith (Mark 11:23).

Every time you speak, you shape your life and future; you chart your course in life.
You’re today the result of your mouth-work. Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue...,” which means with your mouth, you can choose which would be your lot—death or life. So, you can see that you’re responsible for your life, because what you say is what you get.

The Lord Jesus said, “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned” (Matthew 12:37). Notice that He didn’t say, “By the words of your parents, friends, or teachers in school, thou shall be justified or condemned,” no; it’s going to be by the words that come out of your own mouth. So, it’s up to you to chart your course towards a greater and brighter future with your mouth. Don’t talk about the problems and difficulties that may be around you; declare your victories.

The Bible says, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?...Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us” (Romans 8:35-37). You can never be disadvantaged. God already ordained your triumphant and victorious life; therefore, you must speak accordingly. The Bible says He has said, so that we might boldly affirm the same things (Hebrews 13:6).

2 Peter 1:3 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” This should form the basis for your faith-filled confessions. Affirm that you have a great life. Acknowledge and declare that you’re excellent and full of glory, living the life of power, dominion, and righteousness. Keep speaking the right words and your life will blossom from glory to glory. Hallelujah!
CONFESSION
I’m excellent and full of glory; my path is as the shining light that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day! I’m living the life of dominion, power, and righteousness. I’m making progress with giant strides, by the power of the Spirit, and through the Word. I’m walking in increased grace, wisdom, and divine provisions, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Further Study: || Hebrews 13:5-6 [Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. ||

|| Mark 11:22-23 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. ||

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES  **He’s Counting On You**  Friday 16th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES  **He’s Counting On You**  Friday 16th September . Pastor Chris

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek (Romans 1:16).

As Christians, we’ve received the mandate to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth; it’s a most sublime and high calling. It’s something you’re to do with all boldness, faith, courage, and conviction. You must never be ashamed or apologetic about Christ and the message of the Gospel. Don’t be ashamed of who you are in Him, and don’t let others make you ashamed of what you believe. Paul said, “...I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth...” (Romans 1:16).

It’s only the Gospel that can catapult the sinner to salvation and righteousness. It’s only through the preaching of the Gospel that the righteousness of God can be unveiled and embraced. So, there’re no options to the Gospel. Its power and efficacy are incontrovertible; it’s the only message that, when received, makes sinners sons of God, in a moment of time.

In 2 Timothy 1:13, Paul said to Timothy, “Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.” That means the words of the Gospel are potent, filled with inspiration, power and divine energy. No sinner should be around you over a period without being transformed and impacted by the power of the Gospel that you bear. Be determined about that. Be so fired up with the Gospel that its impact in men’s lives, and spread around the world is all that matters to you.

The Bible says those that turn many to righteousness shall shine as stars forever (Daniel 12:3); shine for the Master by making an impact with the Gospel. Go the extra mile. Like Jesus, let your meat (what matters the most to you) be to do the will of the Father, and finish His work (John 4:34). Let it be what you live for. He’s counting on you for the salvation of many in your world, and in the regions beyond. Therefore, be faithful in your responsibility as a soul winner.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for entrusting me with the divine responsibility of reaching those in my world and in distant lands with the message of eternal life. The light of your glorious Gospel that I bear dispels the darkness in the hearts of the unconverted, destroying the bonds of religion and establishing them in your righteousness, in Jesus’ Name.

Amen. ||

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Discover His Plan For You** Thursday 15th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES  **Discover His Plan For You**  Thursday 15th September . Pastor Chris

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11).

God has a plan for your life; a destiny that He created you to fulfil. Some people aren’t aware of this and as a result, they live empty lives. Some others don’t believe that God could have a plan for them; but why wouldn’t He? He created you! Discover His plan for you and walk in the light of it.

God’s Spirit is in you, to build, strengthen, and guide you in the path of your divine destiny. Yield yourself to Him and let Him carry out His ministry in your life. You can’t do it on your own; you need Him to help you. Jesus said in John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

The Holy Spirit knows your future and everything about your life, and it’s His delight to help you discover your purpose in God, so you can fulfil your destiny in Him. He created you to bring Him glory. Therefore, live for Him. Study the Word and always fellowship with the Holy Spirit in prayer. Be effective in the local church, and as you do these things, you’ll discover your specific purpose in Him, and how to live and enjoy the good life He’s pre-arranged for you.

The Bible says, “For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]” (Ephesians 2:10 AMP).

CONFESSION
I know God’s thoughts for me; they’re thoughts of peace and not of evil, to bring me a glorious end-result. I walk in the path, which He prepared for me before the foundations of the world, living the good life, which He prearranged and made ready for me!I’m triumphant always, living in, and manifesting the glory of God. Hallelujah!

Further Study: || Matthew 6:25-26 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Are ye not much better than they? ||
|| Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. ||
|| 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. ||

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **See The Good Only** Wednesday 14th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES  **See The Good Only**  Wednesday 14th September . Pastor Chris

He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD (Psalm 33:5).

Some people are always fishing for the wrong things; they never see good in anything or anywhere. They know all the bad things happening around, and are prompt to spread gossip, falsehood and negative information. Such people end up twisted in life, because they never see or celebrate the good in anything.

Whereas, there’re those who always think and care about the good; they see good in everything. No matter what it is, they only look out for, and celebrate the good. They’re forever “good- conscious”; not because they’re naïve, but because of the excellence of their personality. That’s how God expects you to live. The Bible says the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord; that’s all you should see—only good things.

People who peddle rumours and bad news, and only see the negative side of everything can’t make much progress in life. Their values keep depreciating, and everyone who wants to make progress avoids them. Successful people don’t want to keep the company of people who are negatively programmed; they avoid them. The Bible says, “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend” (Proverbs 27:17).

Read the latter part of our opening verse again; it says, “...the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD” (Psalm 33:5). Choose to see the glory and goodness of God in your world. Yes, the Bible says the dark places of the earth are filled with the habitations of cruelty, but it doesn’t change the fact that the earth is full of the goodness of God. Don’t be concerned about the evil reports so much so that they produce the negative response from you; be excited about the goodness of God. The truth is, if all you see and seek is the goodness of the Lord, that’s surely what you’ll experience.

PRAYER
The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord; thus, I see and experience good things only. My life is a daily manifestation of the glory and beauty of God as I think about His goodness, accept, and celebrate His excellence that I see around me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **The Excellent Glory** Tuesday 13th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES  **The Excellent Glory** Tuesday 13th September . Pastor Chris

...All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

Before Christ came, all men were under the curse of sin, and were therefore subject to condemnation, Satan, sickness, disease, poverty and depravity. This was the consequence of man’s fall in the Garden of Eden. Adam, before the fall, lived in the presence of God. God’s presence was his light; he walked in the presence of God. That connection or relationship was the glory.

However, he was cut off from that glory when he listened to Satan and sinned against God. He died spiritually. Spiritual death is separation from God. Thus, through Adam’s transgression, all men died and became separated from the presence—the glory of God. Now, in Christ, the one who’s born again is made alive and awakened to the fatherhood of God. Romans 5:19 lets us know that because all men were made sinners by Adam’s disobedience, likewise, by the obedience of Christ, we’ve been made righteous.

We’re no longer separated from the life of God. By virtue of the new birth, Christ has taken up His abode in the quarters of our hearts. Christ isn’t around you, neither is He merely with you; He’s in you: “...Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27). The glory that was lost in Adam has been restored in Christ. We’ve been glorified in Christ. Hallelujah! This glory is even greater than what Adam had in the Garden of Eden. It’s greater than the glory of the Old Testament. Our glory in Christ Jesus is “...the glory that excelleth” (2 Corinthians 3:10); the excellent glory (2 Peter 1:17).

In the Garden, Adam and Eve heard the voice of the Lord, walking. But with us, the presence of God isn’t just a voice walking around us; that voice is in you. You house the glory of God. He lives in you—in every fibre of your being, in every cell of your blood, and in every bone of your body. It’s the excellent glory. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
My life is a manifestation of the beauty, radiance and excellence of God, because Christ is in me. Therefore, sickness, disease and infirmities have no place in my body. RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **finish Your Course With Joy** Monday 12th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES  **finish Your Course With Joy**  Monday 12th September . Pastor Chris

But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God (Acts 20:24).

The Apostle Paul took personal responsibility for the Gospel. The Gospel, to him, was a sacred trust. He affirmed this when he said, “According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust” (1 Timothy 1:11). In 1 Corinthians 9:16, he affirmed, “For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!”

Again, in 1 Timothy 1:12, he declared, “...I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry.” Paul’s conviction about the Gospel was absolute. He knew that the Gospel was the power of God for the salvation of all men, and he preached it with fervency. Nothing, and no one, could keep him quiet. He encountered so much opposition in the course of preaching the Gospel, but he remained undeterred.

Even when the Holy Spirit expressly testified that he’d suffer severe afflictions and be imprisoned if he went to Jerusalem to preach (Acts 20:23), Paul remained resolute and focused. His response was: “... none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God” (Acts 20:24).
Paul was an activist for the Gospel; he’d preach it even if it cost him his life. He was determined to finish his course with joy. This should be your attitude. Never be moved by the problems and the difficulties that you might face in preaching the Gospel. God already knew you’d face those challenges; therefore, not one of such adversities can defeat you if you stand your ground and refuse to quit.

Always remember that God counted you faithful and committed the Gospel to your trust. He believes in you. So, like the Apostle Paul, let nothing stop you. Be determined to finish your course with joy.

Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for energizing me for the work of the Kingdom. I remain undaunted, unmovable, and always joyful for the work ahead. I take advantage of the Word and the blessings of the Spirit, through which I’m trained, strengthened and instructed for a continuous life of victory, success, promotion and greatness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **LET CHRIST BE MANIFESTED IN YOU** Sunday 11th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **LET CHRIST BE MANIFESTED IN YOU** Sunday 11th September . Pastor Chris

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).

The greatest thing that could ever happen to you isn’t only to have and know Jesus Christ, but to also have Him manifested in your life. If you’re sick in your body today, what you need is the manifestation of Christ in that part of your body. The Bible says, “... For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8). When He’s manifested in your life, everything that’s not of God will give way.

When Christ is manifested in the life of a sinner, the power of sin is broken, and righteousness takes effect. When He’s manifested in the life of one that’s bound, the chains are broken, and deliverance takes place. Christ is the answer. Christ is all you need. Christ is everything. Christ in you is the hope of glory. Let Him be manifested in you—spirit, soul, and body. Subject your will and emotions to Him, to His Word, and you’ll think the thoughts of God, have the emotions of God, and do the will of God.

Then, you can have Him manifested in your physical body. You know, someone can be born again and be blind, lame, sick and afflicted in the body. But if you let Christ manifest Himself in your body, not only will healing result, He’ll vitalize your body and keep it immune to sickness, disease and infirmities. He’ll keep you in divine health.

In John 14:21, the Lord Jesus said, “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” That’s what you need; let Him manifest Himself to you. You don’t need the healing; no, you need the one who heals; the healer Himself.

So, give Him your whole spirit, soul and body and your whole life will be full of glory. Hallelujah!

ConfessionChrist is alive in me; His divine life is manifested in my spirit, soul and body and in every fibre of my being. He’s made me a champion and a victor forever! He is my life; in Him I live and move and have my being! He’s made me a wonder. Glory to God!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Move from Believing To faith** Saturday 10th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Move from Believing To faith** Saturday 10th September . Pastor Chris

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed (1 Peter 2:24).

Some Christians find themselves having a conflict between what the Word says and their actual experience. For example, they’ve read and believed our opening verse, yet they’ve battled one ailment after the other and now they’re asking, “What am I supposed to do that I’m not doing?”

A dear lady asked me a similar question, drawing attention to 2 Corinthians 8:9 that says Jesus was made poor that we might be made rich. Then she asked, “If this is true, how come so many Christians are still poor?” She wanted to know what could be done to make that scripture real in their lives.

Here’s what you need to know: When you were born again, you were brought into a life of absolute prosperity, absolute health, strength and victory; it’s been done already. Whether or not you’re enjoying it is your responsibility. The Bible says, “...work out your own salvation...”  (Philippians 2:12); meaning that you must live the Word of salvation. Act according to the Word. In Christianity, we do the Word; we’re Word practitioners. You must personalise the Word for yourself and act accordingly.

You’re the one to make the Word real in your life. You’re the one to subdue the circumstances around you. You’re the one to subdue the forces that come against you and the symptoms that try to attack you. You’re the one to use the Word to effect changes.

Things won’t change by themselves; they won’t change because you believe. Believing isn’t enough; to effect the change you need in any area of your life, you must go from believing to faith! You must fight the good fight of faith. The fight of faith is when you consciously live according to the Word of God, irrespective of the circumstances around you and what your senses tell you. It’s when you insist on the Word and hold on to it as the only reality.

Confession
I experience the reality of the Word of God as I meditate on, and live in, the Word! I’m making progress, and circumstances are subdued to conform to the reality of God’s Word for my good. The Word of God has the pre-eminence in my life, and it continually produces in me what it talks about, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Be On The Offensive Against Satan** Friday 9th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Be On The Offensive Against Satan** Friday 9th September . Pastor Chris

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).

You don’t need to pray, “Oh Lord, make me strong; help me to overcome temptations; help me to stand against the devil.” Such a prayer is unnecessary, because He already told you what to do to stand: “Put on the whole armour of God....” With your armour on, you’ll be able to stand your ground and resist every onslaught from the enemy; you’ll not succumb to fear, irrespective of what happens around you.
However, if you don’t put on the armour, it doesn’t matter how intensely you pray; it’ll not work. The instruction is to put on “the whole armour of God,” not some of it. And notice also that it doesn’t say, “So that you may be able to stand against the power of the devil”; that’s because the devil isn’t a factor; he has no power. The new creation is superior to him. The reason you’re to put on the armour of God is for you to be able to stand against “the wiles of the devil,” not his power.

The underlined word is “methodeia” in Greek, from where the English got the word, “method.” It refers to the travesties, stratagems, schemes, and manipulations of the devil. When you’re kitted with the whole armour of God, you’ll have the ability to frustrate and nullify these stratagems and deceptive mechanisms of Satan.

There’re people who aren’t able to stand when troubles come; life becomes miserable for them. Don’t be that way. The Bible says having done all to stand, stand therefore (Ephesians 6:13-14); in other words, endure to the end. Don’t give in; don’t give up. Wear the devil out. He doesn’t have what it takes to withstand you; resist him and he’ll flee from you. How do you resist him? It’s with the spoken Word; that’s part of your armour; it’s called the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17). Use it and the rest of the armour to keep Satan where he belongs—under your feet!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the instructions in your Word; they’re life to me. I’m fully kitted with the whole armour ofGod, steadfast, unwavering, firmly rooted, grounded, and unmovable in the face of staggering opposition or contrary circumstances. I render futile the wiles, tactics, manipulations, and strategies of the devil, with my shield of faith, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Accepted In The Beloved** Thursday 8th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Accepted In The Beloved** Thursday 8th September . Pastor Chris

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved (Ephesians 1:4-6).

God chose us before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blame before Him in love, and predestined us to be accepted in His presence. It’s part of what His righteousness in our spirits has produced for us; we can boldly stand in the presence of God without guilt, inferiority or condemnation.

No matter where you’ve been, what you’ve done, how deep in the thraldom or valley of sin you’ve been, you’re accepted in Christ Jesus. You don’t have to run from God, because of your sins. Imagine His gracious invitation in Isaiah 1:18; He said, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” He’s not mad at you. Submit to His righteousness. Embrace His love. Trust Him with your life, and He’ll make your life glorious.

Now that you’re born again, you’re in Christ; He’s already accepted you; you’re in Him. You dwell in His presence. In His presence, you’re at liberty; you don’t have to be afraid; you’re free to express yourself and be yourself. You’re at liberty to function for Him and live for Him.

Some people are still living their lives in hope that God will accept them based on their good works. But that’s not going to work! The Bible says, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9). Furthermore, Galatians 2:16 says, “...by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified”; that means accepted and declared righteous before God!
You don’t have to feel insecure or uncertain about your standing with God. Be bold, confident, assured and glad that you belong to Him; that He brought you into oneness with Himself. Hallelujah!

Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for choosing me before the foundation of the world that I should be holy, blameless and accepted in your presence, according to the good pleasure of your will. I function in the consciousness and boldness that I’m justified and have peace with you, enjoying an indissoluble oneness with you, to the praise and glory of your grace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **You Must Belong In A Local Church** Wednesday 7th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **You Must Belong In A Local Church** Wednesday 7th September . Pastor Chris

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils(1 Timothy 4:1).

Sometimes, you ask some Christians which church they attend and they say, “I don’t belong to any church. I fellowship wherever I want to; wherever the Spirit leads me.” That’s sad. It’s a show of spiritual immaturity and instability to have such a mind-set. Any Christian who says he or she doesn’t believe in being a member of a local church, is in error, and under the spell of Satan.

We’re clearly admonished in the Scriptures not to forsake the gathering of the saints; our church meetings: “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching” (Hebrews 10:25). These are the last days, and our opening verse says men shall give heed to “seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.”

Some people think “seducing spirits” are spirits that seduce men and women in lustful desire, but “seducing spirits,” according to the Scriptures, are spirits that try to lure people out of the Gospel; they lure people away from the truth of the Word. These spirits are working in many people today who go about deceiving others, telling them they don’t have to be members of a local church to serve God. Some have even written books inspired by Satan to convince Christians not to belong in any church, or to lure them from the church into another gospel.

Therefore, beware of them; be wise. Even in regions where there’s hostility against the message of the Gospel, Christians still find time and opportunity to meet. The Church is the ground and pillar of truth; it’s the place where you’re taught the truth—God’s Word that puts you over in life.

Personal Bible study and prayer are very healthy and must be embraced by all Christians, but it must not take the place of corporate worship—the assembly of ourselves together. You have to be in the house of God so you can hear the Word, grow spiritually, and participate effectively in the work and ministry of the Church.

Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for the opportunity to fellowship with you and with other believers, and the grace to be vitally involved and committed in spiritual activities organized in the local assembly. I’m blessed to partake of that corporate unction that transforms my life, and makes me more effective in the work of the Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **His Righteousness In Your Spirit** Tuesday 6th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **His Righteousness In Your Spirit** Tuesday 6th September . Pastor Chris

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Righteousness is a gift from God; you don’t qualify for it. When you were born again, you were born righteous, with the nature of God—the nature of righteousness.

Religion teaches that if a man would live right, then God would qualify him to be a righteous person, but that’s not true. It’s a contradiction. No one can live righteously, until He’s first made righteous by God. God’s righteousness in your spirit is what gives you the ability to live right.

That is why in Christianity, what God does is to first make you righteous, before He’d be justified to expect you to live right. The Bible says Jesus Christ died on account of our offences, and was raised back to life for our justification (Romans 4:25). Justification means to declare righteous. When a man receives Christ, he receives a new life, and is as one who has never existed before: a new creation in Christ.

This new life isn’t characterized by sin. This new life is superior to sin, the devil, death and hell. This new life is the life of righteousness; now you can live a righteous life. The reason men sin is because they’re sinners by nature. That nature is supplanted by God’s nature of righteousness when a man is born again. Because you’re born again, sin no longer has dominion over you; it becomes natural for you to live right and fulfil the will of the Father, for His righteousness is in your spirit.

CONFESSION
I’m crucified with Christ; it’s no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. His righteousness in my spirit is expressed on the outside; it’s natural for me to live right and fulfil the will of the Father, because of His righteousness in my spirit.

Further Study: || Romans 3:20-22 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law [is] the knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God [which is] by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: ||
|| Romans 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) ||

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Live for His Glory** Monday 5th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Live for His Glory** Monday 5th September . Pastor Chris

And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again(2 Corinthians 5:15).

If you truly believe that Jesus died to save you, then you must continually live for His glory and lead others to salvation. We’re in the last days, and the time is short. There’s no room for complacency; you must become vocal with the Gospel now more than ever. Yes, there may be peculiar times, occasions, and places where we might need to be tactful in our preaching of the Gospel; nonetheless, we should never lose our confidence in Christ and the boldness to publicly proclaim His Lordship.

We’re His co-labourers and partners, working together with Him to reach the lost and bring salvation in Christ to everyman. This is our primary responsibility as Christians. The Apostles lived for this cause. Many have suffered severe persecutions and even lost their lives for preaching the Gospel. It isnt, and shouldn’t, be different in our day. Stick your neck out for the Gospel. Don’t be afraid or intimidated to stand up and speak up for what you believe.

In your workplace, school, bussiness environment, estate, neighbourhood, be known as an ambassador of Christ; a burning and a shining light. Even when you’re reviled or disdained for preaching the Gospel, keep at it, because your adversaries don’t count; they’re not a factor. Nothing, and no one, can hurt or harm you, because Christ is your life; He’s your defence. He sent you, and will therefore see to it that you triumph gloriously always—over and above every adversity.

Devote your life to reaching others with the Gospel. Keep influencing and impacting your world positively through the power of God that works in you. Keep beautifying the lives of those around you with the Word and power of the Holy Spirit. That’s how to live for the Lord and have His glory revealed in and through you.

Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for giving me the opportunity and ability to influence those in my world with the Gospel. Everything I am and everything I have is for the expansion of your Kingdom. I thank you for your blessings and extraordinary provisions in my life, and for the strength, boldness and courage you’ve granted me to proclaim the Gospel with power, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **SEE WITH HIS LIGHT** Sunday 4th September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **SEE WITH HIS LIGHT** Sunday 4th September . Pastor Chris

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (Colossians 1:13).

Our opening text states your present position in the presence of God. You’re located there now. You’ve been translated from the domain ofdarkness into the kingdom of God’s dear Son. That’s where you live, and that’s the perspective from which you should see everything in life. You’re not weak or poor. You’re loaded and sufficient in all things; you have everything you’ll ever require for life and godliness.

You’re a success and you’re moving from glory to glory. See the glory of God on your life, and refuse to see things from another perspective. The Bible says, “Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God” (Psalm 87:3). Live in the reality of who you are in Christ. God’s Word is light; use His light to see the glorious things that He’s spoken concerning you.

When an X-ray is turned on you, it has no consideration for whatever is placed under it; it’s directed straight to your bones. In the same way, the Word of God is directed to the human spirit. When the Word of God tells you something, it’s according to the light of God; how God sees it. For example, in Revelation 2:9, Jesus said to the Church in Smyrna, “I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich)....” The people might have been living in penury, but Jesus said they were rich.

You may be reading this and you’re in debt, but if you’re a child of God, you’re rich. That’s exactly how God sees you in the Word—rich! All the time you were waiting on Him to “do something” so you could pay your rent, He was actually expecting you to rise up to who you are. He’s not aware that you’re broke or poor, because whenever He looks at you, He sees an heir of God, and a joint- heir with Christ; the possessor of all things.

See with His light, and you’ll discover that what you thought was an impediment has no foundation. See with His light and you’ll always be at peace, because all you see will be solutions and your inevitable victories. Hallelujah!

ConfessionI’m in the light of God; I see with, and by that light! I’m what He says I am, and I have what He says I have, and I can do what He says I can do. He’s given me all things freely to enjoy. And I’m living from a position of rest, knowing that I’m a joint-heir with Christ.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **set Your faith On Course** Saturday 3rd September . Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **set Your faith On Course** Saturday 3rd September . Pastor Chris

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18).

God loves you and cares about you, regardless of the challenges and difficulties you may be facing right now. He always wants to see you win and live happy every day. Jesus said, “...In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). Never allow anything get you frustrated; train your faith. Tell yourself, “Against hope, I believe in hope that all things are working together for my good” (Romans 8:28).

The triumphant life is yours in Christ Jesus; refuse to settle for less. Things might not exactly be going as you’ve expected, but maintain your confession of the Word. Don’t accept defeat and don’t give in to sickness or anything that hurts. Don’t say, “I’ve been infected,” just because you noticed some symptoms in your body. Faith doesn’t consider the symptoms or circumstances. Faith considers the Word.

Symptoms or the doctor’s diagnosis shouldn’t change your confession. Keep the Word in your mouth. It doesn’t matter how you feel or the figures in your bank statement; it doesn’t change who you are. Refuse to be rated by your circumstances. The things you see with your physical eyes are subject to change. Therefore, set your faith on course. Your faith is your currency; and with it, nothing shall be impossible to you.

Every adversity you face is your opportunity to experience and manifest the glory of God: “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory” (2 Corinthians 4:17). No matter what you go through in life, it’ll turn out for your good, as long as you turn your eyes away from the conditions or circumstances, to the Word. Hebrews 12:2 says, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith....”

He perfects your faith; therefore, never give up. Don’t say, “The trouble was too much, and so I gave up”; no, take on the shield of faith. With your faith, you can quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Your faith is a shield; use it.

Confession
Blessed be God, who gives me the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, and has made me more than a conqueror. I live triumphantly today, and always, fulfilling God’s dream and bringing glory to His Name. Hallelujah!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES **Think Differently** Friday 2nd September . Pastor Chris

Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward (Hebrews 10:35).

It’s the ninth month of the year 2016—our “Year of Spreading.” Perhaps, you might have been troubled and saying in your heart, “Lord, I still have goals and things I want to do. I want to receive more money for this, and for that; now the year is almost coming to an end.” Don’t think that way with God. Stay in eternity. Live in eternity. Think differently. Don’t “push” God like natural men do. Live with Him in His realm of life. Don’t get under the pressure.

When you get under pressure because of what you want to accomplish within a certain time, you become a slave to time. Don’t let that happen to you. Time should be a slave to you. Psalm 37:4-5 says, “Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.”

Nothing is too difficult for, or impossible with, the Lord; He’s the great God. He said in Jeremiah 32:27, “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” His greatness is beyond description. His power is limitless. Trust Him, and trust His ability. He can do for you in a second, what naturally should have taken you ten years to achieve. Within the last part of this year, you can receive anything that you desire of Him. Jesus said in John 16:24, “...ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.”

He wants your joy to be full; therefore, keep your faith active; ask and receive. Stand firm; stay strong. Believe and keep affirming the Word even in the face of staggering oppositions. Never give up, for faith always wins.

Confession
I refuse to be under the pressure, for the Lord is my salvation, and upon Him, I’ve cast all my cares, living the transcendent life, and enjoying peace with prosperity. My path is as the shining light that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day. The Lord my God is my sufficiency, my refuge, my glory and my strength; He’s my all. Hallelujah!
