TOPIC ✨ TEST THE SPIRITS ✨ 

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world (1 John 4:1 NIV).

Some people have asked how they can distinguish between false prophets and true prophets or ministers of God. Well, it’s very easy to know a true minister of God. First, a true prophet or minister of God draws people to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ and to the Word, not to himself or to some other gods.

Secondly, he walks in love. 1 John 4:8 says, “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” Walking in the love of Christ is very important. In addition, there has to be a consistency of the Word of God in his mouth. A true man of God doesn’t falter on the Word of God. He sticks to the Word, consistently maintaining and upholding the integrity of the Word. He proves the Word, first in his own life.

Another distinctive factor of a true minister is that the things he says come to pass. Now, that’s a little tricky, because sometimes, you could have a true prophet, pastor or evangelist make a mistake and say the wrong thing. Such a mistake could arise from his over enthusiasm or expectations of those around him or even because he’s not paying attention to the Holy Spirit. This, however, doesn’t make him a false prophet.

That’s why it’s important for you to know the Word for yourself. Part of the ministry of the Spirit in your life is to teach you the Word. Rely on Him and you’ll never be deceived. “I have written these things to you because you need to be aware of those who want to lead you astray. But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you all things, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So continue in what he has taught you, and continue to live in Christ” (1 John 2:26-27 NLT).

PRAYER
Dear Father, your Word is a light to my path and a lamp to my feet. My steps in life are directed and ordered by you, through the Word and your Spirit. I’m positioned in the right place and at the right time for your purpose, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

TOPIC ✨ CHOOSE TO BE EXCELLENT ✨ 

That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ (Philippians 1:10).

As a child of God, excellence should be the watchword and hallmark of your life. The Bible says about Daniel: “Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation” (Daniel 5:12). Daniel was so excellent, that the unbelievers around him noticed it. Approve and prize excellence in all that you do, and represent. Everything about you must be top-class. Excellence must be your only option.

Excellence doesn’t come by itself, you’ve got to work for it. You make the choice to be excellent. If you don’t decide for it, it’ll never happen. You can’t blame anybody for your personal life; you can’t say because of what your parents did, that’s the reason you failed; that won’t fly with God.

Jesus said, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you” (John 14:26). The Holy Spirit is in you to guide you in excellence and cause you to exude excellence. He’s the Spirit of excellence, and He lives in you. As long as you yield to Him and do the things He tells you, your life will be excellent and full of glory. You’ll have significant attainments. Glory to God!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you, for the Spirit of excellence is at work in me, both to will and to do of your good pleasure. I exude divine excellence, therefore, I produce luxuriantly, expressing the perfections of God in all that I do, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

TOPIC ✨ THE GOOD TREASURES IN YOUR SPIRIT ✨ 

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23).

Proverbs 20:27 says, “The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.” “Belly” here is an expression for the innermost being. It means your heart or spirit: the core of your nature. The light of God is in your spirit, which is why after giving your life to Christ, you must consciously train and develop your spirit. Many are more concerned about what takes place in their souls or physical bodies, with little consideration for their spirit.

Though commendable, it’s not enough to train your mind and physical body alone; greater premium should be on educating your spirit. The highest potentials of the human nature are in the spirit. So you must consciously and deliberately study and meditate on the Word of God always, for your spirit to be enlightened; then you can bring out the best from within you.

The beauties, graces and perfections of divinity are resident in your spirit. Jesus said in John 7:38, “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” In Matthew 12:35, He said, “A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things….” Discover the treasures in your recreated human spirit through the Word and bring them to the fore. Exude excellence, perfection and virtue from your spirit.

2 Corinthians 4:7 says, “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.” Look inwards, and live from inside out. Initiate prosperity and victory from within you, for they’re inherent in your spirit. God has deposited in your spirit everything you require for a life of glory and excellence. Search yourself; look within you and discover the treasures and potentials in you.

                  PRAYER

Dear Father, how I love you! I thank you for graciously filling my heart with your excellence and perfections. I’m yielded to your Word which helps me discover the treasures within; therefore, I saturate and affect my world with your goodness, kindness, love, beauty, and grace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment (Philippians 1:9).

You’ll appreciate our opening verse better if we read it from the Amplified Version. It says, “And this I pray: that your love may abound yet more and more and extend to its fullest development in knowledge and all keen insight [that your love may display itself in greater depth of acquaintance and more comprehensive discernment].” Here, the Spirit’s prayer through Paul is that you demonstrate and express the love of Christ copiously, with knowledge and discernment.

Christianity is walking in the love of Christ: expressing and manifesting His love in a dark and cynical world, howbeit, with the knowledge of God’s Word and discernment. Sometimes, people think that when you walk in love, you’re naive and weak, but that’s not true; love never makes you weak. Rather, it’s those who don’t walk in love, in the knowledge of God’s Word and discernment, that are naive and weak.

Love makes you give of yourself to others without thinking of what you’ll get in return. It makes you think of others and accept them just as they are. Love is unselfish and breaks the barriers of race, ethnicity, and social strata. Love sees the beauty in others and appreciates who they are. Consciously appreciate those around you and express the love of Jesus to them. God wants you to act that way, more and more. He said, _*“...that your love may abound yet more and more and extend to its fullest development in knowledge and all keen insight...”*_ (Philippians 1:9 AMP).

Take your communication for instance; the way you address others; it ought to be with loving, gracious, and edifying words. Never talk people down. Never use words that hurt and demean people. Communicate excellently with others without destroying their self-image or making them feel sorry for themselves. Talk to people in a way that they never forget the excellence of your words, the love and grace of Christ that you communicated. It’s how God wants us to live.

Preaching the Gospel isn’t only when you talk to a sinner; you preach the Gospel with your life every day, no matter who you’re talking to. And the Gospel, is Christ alive in you: His love seen, heard, expressed and experienced by others through you.

                  *PRAYER*

*Dear Father, thank you for your love-nature that’s fully expressed in, and demonstrated through me. I’m loving, tender, compassionate and gracious to those in my world, displaying and spreading your righteousness and the realities of the Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come (1 Timothy 4:8).

Some people claim to be making progress spiritually, yet their lives are full of ups and downs. “My spiritual life is okay, but I have problems in my business,” some may say. This ought not to be. God expects us to make spiritual progress always. He expects us to grow. If you can make spiritual progress, progress in every other area of your life is absolutely assured, because the spiritual controls the physical.

Your spiritual life means much more than prayer, Bible study, winning souls, or going to church. Galatians 5:25 says, “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” To walk in the Spirit means that everything you do: thinking, talking, seeing, eating and so on, must be from the light of His Word. As you continually place your health, family, business, and finances under the light of God, God’s Word will give you total balance, and your life will be a declaration of the whole counsel of God.

Ensure to always give your spiritual life the priority it deserves. If your physical life is wonderful and you’ve achieved material and emotional success without giving attention to your spiritual walk, it won’t take too long before those areas are jeopardized. Remember, you’re not a physical being, but primarily a spirit being. Therefore, if your spiritual life isn’t together, you’ll have problems in all other areas sooner or later. But once it is working out well, it will produce the life that’s needed in every other thing about you.

PRAYER.
Dear Father, I thank you, for as I meditate on the Word, I'm changed, from glory to glory. I make progress in every area of my life: in my health, finances, business and academics; I make progress spiritually, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows) (John 10:10 AMP).

The transcendent life, a life of absolute victory, success, and excellence is what Christ came to give us. In Him, we have an ever-winning, joyous life, with power over crises and dominion over circumstances. Some people don’t think it’s possible to live like this on earth, but in Christ Jesus, it’s not only possible, but normal. Our theme scripture says He came for you to have and enjoy life.

You may ask, “Does that mean if you’re a Christian, you don’t face crises or problems?” That’s not what it means! 2 Timothy 3:12 says, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” You’ll have to face trials, tests and difficulties, but the Word says, “In all these things, we’re more than conquerors” (Romans 8:37); you’ll always be a champion.

2 Corinthians 2:14 says, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ….” God ALWAYS causes us to triumph in Christ, irrespective of where you are and what the problem is! The challenges and crises of life are for your promotion. The contrary winds drive your roots deeper. If you’re going to fly high, it’ll have to be against the direction of the wind. So, welcome trouble; don’t be scared or intimidated by challenges, because you’ve already overcome them in Christ (1 John 4:4).

God has given you a life greater than sickness, disease, failure and death, a life of peace, strength, health and prosperity. 1 Corinthians 3:21 says, “Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours.” Psalm 1:3 says you’re like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth fruit in his season—and whatsoever you do prospers.

The knowledge of these realities should give you a new mind-set. Imagine a life where you don’t experience lack and there’re no limitations! Imagine a life of absolute productivity, fruitfulness, significant attainments and constant progress! That’s the life you have in Christ. It’s a glorious life!

CONFESSION
Dear Father, I thank you for the glorious life I have in Christ Jesus. I have and enjoy life to the full. No matter the difficulties and trials that come my way, they’re for my promotion and growth in life, from glory to glory. When men are cast down, I’m lifted, because I fly on eagle’s wings. I’m grateful for the triumphant life I have in Christ. Hallelujah!

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure (Philippians 2:13).

It’s not unusual to find Christians who think that what they need is more power or more anointing. They’ve read in the Bible of how people brought their sick so that the shadow of Peter could come upon them and be healed. They’ve also read of Paul, from whom handkerchiefs and aprons were taken and laid on the sick, and they were healed. So they pray, “Lord, I need a double portion of the anointing, to minister like Peter and Paul.”

What Paul did was to impart the anointing into those clothing materials. However, that anointing didn’t come from heaven; it was in Paul, because he had the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit came to live in you, He came as a person to make His home in you. He didn’t come to give you a part of Himself; you’ve received the Holy Spirit without measure.

That was the difference between the Messiah and the prophets of old. John 3:34 says “For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.” Upon the prophets came the Spirit, but the Bible tells us the Holy Spirit came upon Jesus for the purpose of living in Him. That’s the same thing about you; the Holy Spirit came upon you that He might live in you, and He’s in you now.

Sometimes, the presence of the Holy Spirit could be imparted to you, maybe by the laying on of hands. But until and unless you make contact with the person of the Holy Spirit inside you and walk according to His power at work in you, that impartation won’t last for long; it’s the reason many are always looking for another anointing.

Don’t ignore that which God has put in you. Does He give you more power? No! He’s already given you all the power you could ever need—Himself! He’s power personified. You’re the one to work His power in you to its maximum. The Bible says, “And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all” (Acts 4:33).

From where did they get great power? Jesus didn’t say, “You shall receive great power”; He said, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…” (Acts 1:8). They got all the power they needed from the power-giver inside them. They activated that power for whatever they needed. So, recognise and put the power in you to work.

PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the presence of your Spirit in my life, which has ushered me into a life of unending blessings. I take advantage of the miracle-working power of your Spirit in me. Therefore, I walk in greater manifestation of your blessings, healings, prosperity and power, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body (James 3:2).

The words you speak are a true measure of your spirituality. It makes no difference what others might think or say about you; what matters are the words that come out of your mouth every day, irrespective of who you may be talking to: God, men, yourself, circumstances, or nature. Be sure you always, speak gracious, faith-filled, and spirit-building words. Tame your tongue.

The Apostle James likened the tongue to the rudder of a great ship that the captain uses to navigate the ship aright, irrespective of the fierce winds driving against it (James 3:4-5). This means that with your words, you can keep yourself in health, in faith, in success, and in the transcendent life. Don’t talk fear, lack or your inabilities. Talk the Word! Consciously put the Word on your lips.

Isn’t it wonderful that with your tongue, you can disallow sickness, disease, infirmity, and weakness from your body? Always speak health and strength to your body. Many are sick, weak, broke and suffering today because of their careless talking through the years. Get your tongue under control and have your life under control!

Use your tongue to come out of trouble, depression, sickness, pain, poverty, and frustration. Today, where you are, and what you are in life, are the result of your words. If the result isn’t such that you’re pleased with, you can consciously begin to chart a new course, and decide what the next five or ten years will be like for you. If the results are already wonderful, you can walk in greater glory and higher levels of success if you use your tongue right. Jesus said you shall have what you say. Therefore, use your tongue to beautify your life (Mark 11:23).

PRAYER
I have a glorious life in Christ. I’m sound, excellent, vibrant, righteous, healthy and aglow in the spirit. The circumstances of life align to God’s perfect will for me because I walk in the Word and exude wisdom and sound judgment. I walk in the glory of God, dispensing the goodness and love of Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17).

Everything we read in the Word about the nature of our heavenly Father is consistent; there’s no evil or darkness in Him at all. You might then want to ask, “How about the words of the prophet Isaiah about God? It says, “...I am the LORD, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things” (Isaiah 45:6-7). Could this be a contradiction? Did God really create evil?

First, you need to understand the style and manner of communication of the prophets in the Old Testament, and the extent of the revelations granted to them. The prophets knew nothing about Satan except in figurative speech, because there was no revelation of him. To them, everything that happened, whether good or evil, came from God.

Jesus made an enlightening statement to the Pharisees in Matthew 19:8. He said, “...Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.” In other words, that commandment came from Moses, not God. If you really want to know God, His character, nature, and ways of doing things, then go to the very beginning and observe His principles. Genesis 1:31 tells us, “And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good....” He didn’t create evil at all. More so, in Christ Jesus, He manifested Himself as a gracious loving Father.

The real evil being and maker of evil is Satan. Satan wasn’t always a devil, because God only created good things. Satan was an angel called Lucifer, which means “son of the morning”; he was God’s vice-regent over the earth. Everything about him was perfect, but through pride, he lost his position, was overthrown, and became the devil. That was how evil came into the world. God is the author of good, and not of evil: “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints” (1 Corinthians 14:33).

PRAYER
Righteous Father, you’re gracious and kind, great and greatly to be praised! You’re love personified. Your mercies are new every morning, and your faithfulness are forever sure! I love and adore you, most holy One. You do mighty things and your grace is upon all who trust in you. The whole earth is filled with your glory and goodness. Blessed be your Name forever. Amen.

TOPIC ✨ POWER THROUGH THE SPIRIT✨ 

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).
Some Christians assume and believe that prayer produces power. So, they say, “a prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian,” but that’s not stated anywhere in the Bible.

Notice our theme scripture; Jesus didn’t say you’ll receive power after you’ve prayed. I believe in prayer, but prayer doesn’t bring power. Power comes from the Holy Ghost.

Power is the dynamic ability to cause changes. That means we can effect changes in our lives and that of our loved ones, and even in places where we desire to see changes. We’re not supposed to be victims in the earth, but many Christians live as victims; they’re captives of adverse circumstances. But Jesus said you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you. Jesus was never a victim, yet many of God’s children have been victims in one way or the other.

1 John 3:2 says, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” When you were born again, you were born as an offspring of God; through the Holy Spirit, you have power. No need to ask Him for power, for the power is already resident in you. All you need to do for the power of God in you to be manifested is to stir it up (2 Timothy 1:6). Glory to God!

PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the power at work in me, through the Holy Spirit. Nothing is impossible for me, because as I activate the power in me, I bring calmness and order to every situation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day (Proverbs 4:18).

A life of consistent and continuous victory is what Jesus brought to us in the Gospel. The Bible says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28). But not many people think this is factual. So, they believe life is sometimes up, and sometimes down, because that’s been their experience. But our theme scripture says, “...the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day” (Proverbs 4:18).

Battles come your way as a child of God; troubles come to you, and there’s nothing wrong with that at all. The Bible says, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12). Tests, trials, and persecution are part of the deal. James 1:2 says, “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations.”

Always be ready and happy to catch some flak; welcome trouble. When they come, win; triumph always. That’s your life: one of consistent triumph in Christ! 2 Corinthians 2:14 says, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.”

What you need is to keep growing your faith through the Word of God. Keep learning and putting the Word to work. The quality of life you’ll live depends on the quality of your knowledge in Christ. So, go for the Word voraciously for we triumph by the Word.

PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the life of unending victory, and supernatural success which you’ve given me in the Gospel. Thank you, for giving me the ability to weather the storms of life and win. Nothing and no one is big enough to defeat me, because the Greater One lives in me, and as He is, so am I in this world. I win always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18).

The preceding Scripture to our opening verse says, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment...” (2 Corinthians 4:17). In other words, that pain or that unpleasant situation may have been for five or ten years, but it’s subject to change, and it’ll work for you a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. How? The answer is in the opening verse: “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

Stop looking at your present physical condition or how much you have in the bank or what people are saying about you. See the invisible! When you see the invisible, the wilderness experience will end. See God doing great things in your life. See yourself prosperous, healthy, vibrant and strong. See yourself walking in victory. See yourself walking in the glory of God.

This brings to mind the story of Abraham in Genesis 17:4-5. God changed Abraham’s name from Abram when he had no physical descendants. Abraham means “father of many” while Abram means “assumed father.” So, even when He had no children, God called him the father of many. God was teaching him to see the invisible.

The Apostle Paul, in Romans 4:17, explains to us that Abraham believed what God had said concerning him: “(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.” He took his gaze off what his physical senses dictated to him and looked at the invisible through the eyes of the spirit. He saw himself as the father of many, just as God had said.

What has God made you? In your life, you must boldly declare who you really are. Someone might say, “Oh God, I’m such a failure; I’ve failed in everything. I’m so fed up with life.” Change your vision. Begin to see from another perspective. See the invisible. Meditate on, and declare what God has said about you.

When you say what God has said about you, your soul will be adjusted to act that way. You need to reprogramme your life with the Word of God. Whatever God has said about you, accept it; believe it, and say it to yourself consistently (Hebrews 13:5-6).

PRAYER
I look away from all distracting situations and fix my gaze upon Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith. I see victory, health, prosperity and triumph, now and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place (2 Corinthians 2:14).

The Name of Jesus is the greatest name ever revealed to man; it’s the most powerful name, not only in the world, but in the entire universe: that’s the name by which God created all things. God has vested all authority in that wonderful and matchless Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Philippians 2:9 says, “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name.”

When you confessed the lordship of Jesus over your life, you were baptised into the Name of Jesus; and you automatically became a part of that Name. Galatians 3:27 says, “For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.” You should be glad to be identified with that Name. It means whatever belongs to Jesus belongs to you!

Satan has no claims over you anymore; you belong to Jesus Christ, and the Name of Jesus is named upon you. We live in His Name; we pray in His Name. Colossians 3:17 says, “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” That’s the way to live a supernatural life. You function and live in the Name of Jesus. That means you’re living for Him, in His authority. Can you see why it’s practically out of place to live in defeat, failure or poverty?

We’re called to live in the Name of Jesus; in the Name of the creator of the world. I can’t consider or conceive of anything more sublime or transcendent! It’s a wonderful Name; an excellent Name—the matchless Name of Jesus Christ.

If you have a tumour in your body, say, “Tumour, in the Name of Jesus, you can’t stay in this body; I command you to die and pass out of my body!” And it’ll go. If you have a problem with your heart, use the Name of Jesus as an instrument against that infirmity. Say, “Heart, I command you to function normally, in the Name of Jesus,” and there’ll be a change.

Whatever situation confronts you is subject to the Name of Jesus Christ. Declare for yourself: “In the Name of Jesus, I’m growing in grace; I’m excellent; sound and healthy; strong and vibrant!” Take advantage of that Name and bring calmness, peace, tranquillity and prosperity into your life and that of your loved ones.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I’m glad to be associated with the most sublime, powerful and most excellent Name that exists. I take advantage of the Name of Jesus, and live by the power and authority of that Name. I speak peace, progress, health, prosperity and victory, into my life and that of my loved ones, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

TOPIC ✨ THE WORD IS TRUSTWORTHY✨ 

For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty (2 Peter 1:16).

God’s Word is absolutely trustworthy and dependable. Matthew 24:35 says, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”

The Scriptures are proven to be the Word of God: the account of Jesus Christ and His work of redemption, His vicarious death, burial, resurrection, and ascension to glory. The entire Scriptures chronicle everything that’s involved in His redemptive work, the implication of all that He accomplished on our behalf, and the testament sealed in His death. Not only are these accounts authentic and trustworthy as communicated to us in the Scriptures, they were delivered to us to live by.

For example, Peter refers to the narrative in Matthew 17 in his second epistle. He explained how they (Peter, James and John) were “eyewitnesses of His majesty”—the transfiguration, where Jesus’ face shone like the sun, and His clothes dazzled. They saw Moses and Elijah appear on the mount. They even heard a voice from heaven which said, “...This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him” (Matthew 17:5).

Yet, by the Spirit, he tells us “We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts” (2 Peter 1:19). Even though they were eyewitnesses of that glory, there was something more trustworthy than their experience. So, beyond the beauties and the glorious experiences they had, Peter reckoned that the Word was surer than experience.

Hold on to God’s Word; it’s a more sure word than our experiences! Imagine if you had symptoms of pains or sickness in your body, don’t budge. Use the word against it. The Word is absolutely trustworthy and dependable.

You may not feel like it’s working out; things may not seem to be changing on the outside, but hold on to the Word! Keep declaring the Word to yourself, to God, and concerning that situation, until you have the note of victory in your spirit.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the power of your eternal Word that’s at work in me today, producing in me the fruit of it’s message, having embraced it as the more sure Word of prophecy—to live by, and build my life on! By the power of your Word, I win in the good fight of faith today, and every day, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12).

Having confessed the lordship of Jesus over your life and received eternal life into your spirit, the very next and most important thing is putting the Word of God into practice; that is, putting the Word to work. Paul tells us, “...work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” This simply means to act your salvation.

“I’ve been a Christian all these while and Christianity hasn’t done anything for me,” someone said. The fact is that Christianity doesn’t do anything for you; you’re to do something with your Christianity. You’re the one to work the Word and make it produce results in your life. You’ll be super elated at the glory of God that’ll be manifested in your life as you act on His Word. This is where some have missed it. They’re not aware that the Word of God is for doing.

In Christianity, we practise the Word: “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed” (James 1:22-25). First is that you search and study the Word, and then you believe, and act accordingly.

For example, if you felt the symptom of sickness, read Romans 8:11. It says, ”But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Then declare that you’re in health and no sickness can thrive in your body. Refuse to let the pain or discomfort dominate your mind; rather, set your gaze on the Lord and His infallible Word, rejoicing in His truth. The Word will prevail.

PRAYER
Dear Father, my heart is forever open to receive your engrafted Word with meekness, faith and gladness. As I put the Word to work, I experience productivity, efficiency and growth. I’m transformed, strengthened and energised in Christ Jesus. Amen.

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 3:15).

The Word of God gives you wisdom; uncommon insight; a clear, deep, and sudden understanding, perception, and penetration of a situation, subject, or mystery. When you meditatively study the Word, over time, you become highly insightful. Your ability and intelligence increase, and God can trust you with much more, because you’re wiser. It’s what the Word of God can do for you: it causes you to deal wisely in all your affairs. The Hebrew word is “sakal,” which parallels the Greek word “suniemi.” It means to become penetratingly discerning, perspicacious and sound.

As you study and meditate on the Word, your mind is anointed and elevated to think from God’s perspective. The Spirit of God guides you to know what to choose, where to go, and the right steps to take in fulfilling your destiny in Christ! The Word in you produces wisdom to deal excellently in your business, finances, academics, family, ministry, etc.

Those who ignore the Word function with worldly wisdom, and as a result are whipped in life. They make bad decisions that make their lives go in the wrong direction, which leads to suffering.

Give the Word utmost attention in your life, for therein is the wisdom you need for a life of excellence and ever-increasing glory. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, my heart is forever open to receive your engrafted Word with meekness, faith and gladness, to produce in me extraordinary amplitude of comprehension. I make the right decisions always, and my steps are ordered in line with your perfect will and destiny for my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

…For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4).

God’s desire is for all men to be saved and come to the knowledge (Greek: Epignosis) of the truth. The reason for bringing salvation to all men isn’t only for them to receive it and escape eternal damnation but also to come into an intimate knowledge, a fellowship or oneness with the truth. That’s when you really start living.

For example, 1 Peter 1:23 says, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” This means you’re born of the Word; you’re the Word in flesh! Your life as a Christian is the manifestation of the Word. God wants you to come to the knowledge of this truth.

Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God….” This means you can’t be disadvantaged or defeated in life; the whole world is yours; you’re an associate of the God-kind. There’s no such thing as failure or poverty when you understand this revelation. These are basic truths revealed to us in the Word; receive and accept them, and your life will be an unending stream of the supernatural.

The Bible talks about those who are _*“Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth”*_ (2 Timothy 3:7). These are individuals who refuse to yield to the knowledge of the truth of their inheritance and identity in Christ Jesus. As a result, they turn around in circles, and never make progress. You can break the cycle by coming into the knowledge or oneness with the truth of your success, victory, prosperity and glorious life in Christ Jesus. You need to come to the knowledge of the truth that you’re in God’s class.

                     *PRAYER*

Dear Father, I thank you for granting me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you. You’ve granted me the specialized knowledge that enables me to function in your perfect will, now and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ (Galatians 3:27).
 
From the very moment you were born again, the Name of Jesus was named upon you; you were baptized into, and have become a part of that Name. Hebrews 1:4 says He obtained His glorious name by inheritance: “Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.” Then Romans 8:17 says we’re joint-heirs with Him: “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ….” This means whatever belongs to Jesus belongs to you, including His Name.

The importance of a name is the power behind it and all what that name represents. Philippians 2:9-10 tells us God has vested all authority in the wonderful and matchless Name of Jesus: “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.” Thus, Christianity is living in the Name of Jesus—in His authority.

At the mention of that Name, every knee bows, in heaven, in the earth, and under the earth. Use that Name to cast out devils, heal the sick, raise the dead, and live triumphantly every day to His glory. Jesus said, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 16:17-18).

The Master gave us the power of attorney to use His Name. We have the authority to act in His stead as His full legal representatives. This means you can go anywhere in the NameofJesus and have heaven’s honour. You can pray in the Name of Jesus and be heard. No demon, sickness or trouble could ever stand against that Name! In His Name, you’re more than a conqueror, a victor, and a champion forever.

Therefore, just as the Bible says, “…whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him” (Colossians 3:17).

               CONFESSION

I’m eternally triumphant, living the transcendent life in Christ; I live in, and experience the supernatural every day, because I live in the Name of Jesus. In His Name, I heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out devils, preach the Gospel with power, and manifest His glory everywhere. Blessed be God!

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God (2 Corinthians 3:5).
 
The word “sufficiency” is the Greek “hikanotes,”which means competence; being qualified enough to be able. When the Scripture says, “Our sufficiency is of God,” it means our competence or ability is of God. No matter the challenges life poses before you, you’re more than able to face them and win. What a life! This has nothing to do with your human ability or connections; it’s about the Christ-life in you.

God has given you a life that makes you more than a man. There’s a divine energy working in you; it doesn’t burn out, neither does it require replenishing. Refuse therefore to be limited by your physical ability. The Holy Spirit—the source of all strength, and Spirit of might Himself—lives in you. That means your potentials are limitless! Christ’s glorious power works in you mightily to achieve results that are beyond human ability and comprehension (Colossians 1:29). Affirm this in your life always.

If you’d take advantage of this divine ability, it’ll make all the difference at school, in your work place and in whatever you do. You’ll go further, faster and do far more excellently than your physical ability can take you. Never feel incompetent, inadequate, or incapable for any task. Christ is your sufficiency; therefore, by His ability at work in you, you can do all things; you’re up to any task. Hallelujah!

Refuse to be intimidated. Fear nothing. Talk bold all the time. Declare who you are, what you have, and your ability in Christ Jesus! This is important, because if you don’t affirm it, you’ll not experience it. Keep declaring that Christ is your sufficiency; therefore, your potentials are limitless. You’re excellent, and have an excellent life. Blessed be God!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for your divine power that works in me mightily. Christ is my life, my sufficiency, wisdom, and righteousness. He’s made my life beautiful, fruitful, productive and sound! Blessed be your glorious Name forever. Amen.

...And have clothed yourselves with the new [spiritual self], which is [ever in the process of being] RENEWED and remolded into [fuller and more perfect knowledge upon] KNOWLEDGE after the image (the likeness) of Him Who created it (Colossians 3:10 AMP).
 
I’ll like you to observe two words in the opening text. The first is “renewed” and the second is “knowledge.” The Greek word translated “renewed” is the verb “Anakainoo,” and it means a qualitative difference, not in how recent, but in terms of newness; a difference in quality. It’s a word that describes a keyword in 2 Corinthians 3:18: _*“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”*_

The Greek word translated “changed” above is “metamorphoo”; a change in state, form, kind, quality or glory; a continuous transformation. But how is it done? It’s through knowledge; full and exact knowledge (Greek: “Epignosis”). This isn’t just the knowledge of mere or distant acquaintance, but one that relates with that which is known.

You’re being renewed in this full knowledge of God which you gain through meditation and revelation. In “Epignosis,” you become what you know; the knowledge that’s granted you transforms your life. As you receive God’s Word into you, your spirit is renewed, refreshed, polished anew; you glow more and more! It’s the reason you must let the Word of God dwell in you richly, because the more you know Him, the more the glory, anointing, graces, wisdom, and effectiveness of the Spirit, are manifested and increased in your life.

The Lord Jesus said in John 6:63, _*“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”*_ It’s only God’s Word that can impact, transform, brighten and glorify the human spirit. The Word works in your mind by renewing your thinking.

                     PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the knowledge of the Word and the transformation it brings to my spirit. As I meditate on the Word, my heart and mind are open for a full, deep and intimate relationship with the Word. Therefore, I grow in grace, and continually, your glory, power, beauty and perfections are manifested and seen in and through me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*

As they ministered to the Lord , and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them (Acts 13:2).
 
The underlined portion is a remarkable construction. Deuteronomy 10:8 shows us something along this line about the Levites: “At that time the Lord separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand before the Lord to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.” Today, we’re king-priests unto God, to minister to Him (Revelation 1:6).

Ministering to the Lord is the essence of worship; it’s something you do consciously, not passively. Many Christians wonder why they don’t seem to experience the power of God, as they should; the problem, for the most part, lies in this area. They haven’t learnt how to minister to the Lord in worship. Hebrews 13:15 shows us what, and how, to minister to the Lord: “By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.”

Thus, in ministering to the Lord, you offer tribute or speech that acknowledges and celebrates the Name of the Lord. You testify of His greatness, His love, power, righteousness, grace, wisdom, glory and blessedness! Ministering to Him involves consciously lifting your hands in worship, and adoration for who He is, speaking words from your spirit that extol His majesty.

It’s not enough to say, “Lord, I bless you. I praise you and I worship you!” Your worship must have content. You should rather say, “Lord, I praise you, because you’re wonderful, merciful, considerate, so loving and kind; gracious and glorious”; that’s different. You’ve added content. The book of Psalms is replete with spirit-filled and inspiring contents that extol His majesty, and speak of His greatness; you can use some of the examples to make your psalms of praise and worship to the Lord.

                     PRAYER
Dear Father, from the depth of my heart, I extol your majesty and revere your matchless Name, for you alone are worthy of all praise. You’re gracious and glorious, righteous, wonderful, kind, and merciful; your loving-kindness is beyond comprehension and your love, unfathomable. You’re great and greatly to be praised. I adore you now and forever. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY: Revelation 19:1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure (Philippians 2:13).

How beautiful this is! The Lord causes us to be willing, and then propels us to do His will. The God that works in you is the Holy Spirit; He’s the One here with us and He lives in you. Part of His ministry in your life is to propel you to do the things that are pleasing to the Father; meaning that you don’t have to struggle anymore to know or walk in the Father’s perfect will.

Now, that doesn’t suggest what some people have erroneously believed. They’d say, “If God is going to make me do of His good pleasure, then I’ll do it; if He doesn’t make me do it, then it means it was never His will for me in the first place; so, I’ll just wait until He makes me do it.” That’s not what we read in Philippians 2:13. What the Spirit teaches through Paul the Apostle is our cooperation with the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit carries out His ministry in our lives. He’s got a job to do, and that job is in you. The Holy Spirit is called to work in you, but you have to let Him do His job by fellowshipping with Him. The more you have fellowship with Him, the more He carries out His ministry in your life. Fellowshipping with Him makes you willing, so you’d never have any problem doing His will; you’ll always, and at all times, be ready to do His will, because in fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit, He can prompt you.

No wonder the prophet Ezekiel said, “And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me” (Ezekiel 2:2). The Holy Spirit can cause you to get up and do or say something, and you’ll be aware. He doesn’t just move you like a robot, no; there’s a consciousness. You’re aware that He’s the one at work in you, propelling you to action. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the wonderful gift of the Holy Spirit that you’ve given me. He’s the One who guides me in excellence. Your wisdom in me is the force that causes me to flourish, excel and be victorious in all things. Through fellowship with you, I’ve become sensitive to your voice, and yielding to your promptings within me. Your blessed works, plans and purposes are accomplished in, and through me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:38).

Out of ignorance, many people think that what they need to fulfil the will of God and produce lasting results is more anointing. So they pray, “Lord, I need a double portion of the anointing.” But there’s nowhere in the Scriptures where God promised to give us more anointing. Many have misunderstood the anointing to mean something totally different from what the Bible actually teaches.

First, the anointing is the symbolic consecration. When someone is anointed with oil like it was in the Old Testament, that’s the symbolic consecration. But more importantly, the anointing is the effect of the power and presence of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, for the Christian who already has the Holy Spirit to ask for “more anointing” is a contradiction. Why ask for the effect when you have the real thing? The Holy Spirit is the real deal. He’s the power of God, the power giver, and He lives in you in His fullness.

You received the Holy Spirit, not as a fluid; water, smoke, cloud or gas, but as a person. When He took up His abode in you, it was with the totality of His being. Therefore, the anointing, which is the effect or result of His presence in you, should be oozing out of you. In John 7:38, when Jesus was talking about the Holy Spirit, He didn’t say, “Upon you shall flow rivers of living water”; rather, He said out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Don’t ask or pray for more anointing to fall on you; what you need is the flow of the Spirit. That is, how to let what’s inside you flow out! You can stir up that power to flow through you more by speaking in tongues and meditating on the Word.

CONFESSION
Dear Father, thank you for your Spirit who has taken up His abode in the quarters of my heart. I’m imbued with supernatural powers, graces and glory, which overflow from within me to my world. Righteousness, peace, joy, and excellence exude from me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4).

1 Corinthians 6:11 reveals an extraordinary reality about the new creation. Actually, Paul had to bring the communication to a level that the Christians in Corinth, who at the time were still spiritual babes, could easily understand.

To fully grasp the import of the message, let’s include and read the preceding verses nine and ten: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”

Verse eleven says, “And such were some of you….” However, in reality, the new creation couldn’t actually be described as someone who used to be any of those characters described in verses nine and ten above for the simple reason that the new creation has no past. He’s a brand new species. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

It wasn’t just a mere change that took place in you when you were born again; it was an actual replacement or supplanting of the life of which you were born of your parents, with another life, the indestructible life of God. Real Christianity isn’t the inclusion or impartation of another nature, but an actual recreation of the human spirit by God. You’ve come alive to God through the new birth. You might then want to ask, “How come people still find themselves doing certain things they shouldn’t do, even after they’re born again?”

The answer is simple: they’ve not fully yielded themselves to the Word to live from their spirit. Really, those wrong actions don’t come from their human spirits, but from the “unrenewed” mind and the senses—which is why we’re told to renew our minds with the Word (Romans 12:2). You must develop your human spirit by learning, meditating and acting on the Word. That way, you’ll train your spirit to rule over your senses, and keep walking in the light of your righteousness, justification, and new life in Christ Jesus.

CONFESSION
I’m a new creation, a brand new species of being; old things are passed away and all things have become new! My mind is renewed and reprogrammed for the transcendent life of glory. Blessed be God!

Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures (James 1:18).

The Bible shows us that the Word of God is a spiritual mirror; it’s God’s mirror given to us, so we can see ourselves and know who we are in Christ. It shows God’s description of us. 2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

Sadly, many only see themselves wrongly; they see themselves weak, poor, broken and as victims in life. But the Word of God—His mirror—clearly shows otherwise. He sees you as strong, righteous, sound, excellent, and supremely blessed.

Not only does God love you, He likes you, because you’re the most beautiful of everything that He made. God has never had anyone like you, and He’ll never have another like you. You’re His unique masterpiece, so be your best for Him. Refuse to fail, because God doesn’t fail, and doesn’t sponsor flops. You’re His product, therefore talk yourself good; never talk down on God’s production: _*“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10).

Never say, “I can’t”; rather, say to yourself, “God doesn’t sponsor flops; so I’ll never fail in anything I do.” “What if I never get to the best place?” you ask. The most important thing is that you tried, and God would know you tried, but don’t stop; keep pressing on, closer and closer, to be the best. The Bible says, _*“But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day”*_ (Proverbs 4:18). As you study and put the Word to work, you’ll constantly make spiritual advancement, and excel in all things.

                       PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for my uniqueness in Christ; I’m the only one of me you have, and I’ve made the choice to be the best for you. There’s no failure with me, because I’m your product, and your product doesn’t fail, because you don’t fail. I prosper in all things, and bring you pleasure in all that I do, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren (Hebrews 2:11).
 
When you study the epistles, you really don’t find Christians being referred to as disciples. Now, there’s nothing wrong in the generic use of the term “disciples” for Christians, because even Acts 11:26 says, “And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.” The disciples apparently lived amongst the people, not just as followers, but as icons of Christ. So, in reality, our description isn’t that of followers, but of ambassadors; the representation of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20).

We’re the icons of Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus is exactly like the Father. He said in John 10:30, “I and my Father are one.” He’s the full representation or perfect imprint of the Father; the express image of His person (Hebrews 1:3). The Bible says as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17).  The question is, “How is Jesus? How did He live when He walked the earth?” He subdued the world; He dominated circumstances. He never complained; rather, He changed things! He lived triumphantly every day.

As His ambassador—His representation—you ought to live as an agent of change like the Master. Speak faith-filled words; dominate circumstances and subdue this world. He has said nothing shall be impossible unto you; live every day with that mind-set. You’re today the effulgence of His glory, the epitome and expression of His righteousness. When you show up, Christ shows up; His blessings manifest.

This was God’s dream from the beginning, to manifest Himself, not only in you, but also through you. He seeks to bless the world and show forth His goodness, grace, wisdom, and excellence through you. So, everywhere you are, manifest the life of Christ! Let Him laugh, smile, and touch others through you.

 
CONFESSION

I know who I am! I’m a new creation in Christ Jesus, born with the life and nature of God. I’m the icon of the resurrected Christ. I manifest His glory, perfections and grace everywhere. I’m a partaker of the divine nature. Hallelujah!*

TOPIC ✨ HEIRS OF THE ABRAHAMIC BLESSINGS✨ 

That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (Galatians 3:14).

The Lord Jesus did all that He did so that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles, and it has. Now that you’re born again, you’ve received the promise of the Spirit; you’re now the seed of Abraham. Galatians 3:29 says, “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

You’re an heir of the Abrahamic blessing. Therefore, it makes no difference how hostile the environment in which you find yourself, you’ll always win! You’ll always come out prosperous, because you have the inherent ability to prosper. You’re graced for excellence. Christ in you is your power to condition your environment to produce the results that you want.

When the children of Israel went out of Egypt, they carried their own atmosphere. Through the desert, the presence of God was with them such that they didn’t perish in the wilderness, despite being there for forty years. Psalm 105:37 says, “He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.” Nehemiah 9:21 says, “Yea, forty years didst thou sustain them in the wilderness, so that they lacked nothing; their clothes waxed not old, and their feet swelled not.” If this could happen for them in the Old Testament, consider what blessings we have today in Christ Jesus!

The Bible says Christ, whose we are, and by virtue of whom we’re the seed of Abraham, is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises (Hebrews 8:6). It gets even more glorious, because all these “better promises” have all been fulfilled in Christ.

What we have today is a life of transcendental blessings. You’re blessed beyond measure. Failure, sickness, disease, lack and death are not, and should never be, a part of your life. It’s impossible for you to be poor or fail, because as Abraham’s seed, you’re ordained to succeed. Fruitfulness and productivity have become your birthright.

PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the manifestations of your goodness and kindness in my life. As the seed of Abraham, I walk in righteousness, victory, health, and dominion today, conscious that I’m blessed to be a blessing, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

TOPIC ✨ WE'RE THE SEED OF JESUS CHRIST✨ 

Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand (Isaiah 53:10).

The Holy Spirit, speaking through the Prophet Isaiah, prophesied the coming of the Messiah as an offering for sin, and also the fact that He shall see His “seed,” who shall prolong His days The seed of Jesus is the Church. Through the Church, the Lord Jesus prolongs His days. Jesus came into this world, lived in this world, conquered this world, died, was buried, resurrected, and ascended to heaven. But His life continues today through us. We’re the ones living out His life today. He lives on, through us.

Acts 1:1 talks about “…all that Jesus began both to do and teach,” which refers to His miraculous works and teachings about the Kingdom of God. As you read further into the book of Acts, you’ll find that the Lord continued to teach and to do the same things through the Apostles whom He had chosen. They, in turn, delivered the same teachings to others, and finally, it got to every one of us; and it’ll continue until Jesus comes again. We’re His ambassadors, teaching the same things He taught, and doing the same works He did.

Isaiah 53:8 says, “…he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.” The world thought they were through with Him; but then came you and I! Today, when you show up, a Jesus shows up. Always be mindful that Christ is living through you. Anyone who needs to know what Jesus looks like only needs to look at you! You’re the effulgence of His glory, the express image of His person, a partaker of His life, and a dispenser of His love, righteousness and grace. You’re His representative in the earth today.

PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father, I'm so thankful for the love and grace you’ve lavished upon me. Thank you for expressing yourself to the World through me. I’m the effulgence of  Christ’s glory, the express image of His person, and my life is a manifestation of your praise and glory, Jesus'  Name. Amen.

TOPIC ✨ CHRIST: THE FULFILMENT OF GOD'S PROMISES✨ 

For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us (2 Corinthians 1:20).

Christ Jesus is the fulfilment of all of God’s promises. There’re no more promises waiting to be fulfilled, and this is the reality. Therefore, stop saying, “I’m believing God for this and for that; I’m waiting on His promise.” Stop “believing,” and start putting your faith to work. Your believing becomes faith when you say, “I have all that I need.”

In Leviticus 26:9, God said to the Israelites, “For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.” Now, imagine praying, “Lord, you said you will make me fruitful. Make me fruitful; it’s your promise.” That’s unbelief in demonstration. The Bible says, “In Christ Jesus all the promises of God are yea and in Him Amen” (2 Corinthians 1:20).

In the Old Testament, God gave the children of Israel several promises of blessings, which were preconditioned on their obedience to the Law and commandments (Deuteronomy 28:2). But for the new creation, we’re the result of Christ’s sacrifice and His obedience. That’s why in 1 Peter 1:14, we’re called obedient children. Paul, alluding to this in Romans 6:17, writes: “But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.”

Thus, our blessings in Christ aren’t preconditioned on our obedience, but on the basis of who we are: heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ! There’s no need praying and asking God to make His promises real in your life; they’re already real. Simply walk in the light of who you are and your inheritance in Christ. You’re the one to prove His Word in your life today.

Don’t say, “Lord, you promised to make me fruitful; you promised to multiply me”; rather, say, “Lord, I thank you for making me fruitful and productive. You’ve multiplied me! I’m flourishing on every side!” Once you see a promise in the Word of God, respond and say, “Glory to God! That’s mine in Christ Jesus; it’s been fulfilled in Christ for my benefit. Blessed be God!”

PRAYER
Dear Lord, I thank you for the realisation your Word has brought to me today, that in Christ all your promises are fulfilled in my life. I’m so blessed and honoured to be in Christ. I declare that my faith is working and I live a life of total satisfaction and fulfilment, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
