RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, Saturday, February 25th Pastor Chris
Topic: ✨Faith—The Effect Of Righteousness✨
_*…and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. (Isaiah 32:17).*_
Our opening verse reminds of the true definition of faith in Hebrews 11:1 which says, _*“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”*_ Faith is the quiet, confident assurance of what we hope for and the reality of things yet unseen.
That’s the reason Jesus said, _*“…If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you”*_ (Matthew 17:20).
The effect of righteousness is faith; mountain-moving faith; with which you affirm that all things are possible unto you, living without fears, worries, conflicts, and agitations. Isaiah 54:14 says, _*“In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; FOR THOU SHALT NOT FEAR: AND FROM TERROR; FOR IT SHALL NOT COME NEAR THEE.”*_ When you’re established by God in righteousness, you become unshakeable and immovable (1 Corinthians 15:58).
In the underlined portion of the verse above, the word “for” means because or whenever. In other words, you shall be far from oppression because you shall not fear. Why will you not fear? Because the effect of righteousness has produced quietness, assurance, and confidence in you forever; it has secured you in Christ. You’re no longer in the arena of those who’re oppressed by circumstances, situations of life, demon spirits, etc.; you’re not under the oppression of the enemy. Rather, you’re in charge and in control. To walk in the consciousness of God’s righteousness is to walk in glory, dominion, and the strength of God. Hallelujah!
*PRAYER*
*Dear Father, I thank you for the effect of righteousness in my spirit. I’m established in righteousness, therefore, I’m far from oppression and from terror. Nothing is impossible to me, for I walk in the might, dominion and liberty of the Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*
*Further Study:* *||* *Hebrews 11:1 (AMP)* NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. *||*
*||* *2 Corinthians 3:5* Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency [is] of God; *||*
*||* *1 Corinthians 15:58* Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. *||*
