RHAPSODY OF REALITIES THURSDAY, 1ST NOVEMBER. Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨ A MUCH HIGHER PURPOSE✨.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES THURSDAY, 1ST NOVEMBER. Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ A MUCH HIGHER PURPOSE✨.

…our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ (1 John 1:3).

Ask many people, “Why did Jesus come?” They’ll mostly answer, “He came to save us from sin,” or “He came to destroy the works of the devil.” But Jesus came to do much more than “save” us from sin, and destroy the works of the devil; all that was a means to an end. He came for a much higher purpose.

In John 10:10 AMPC, for example, He said, “...I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” So, Jesus came to give us life, but again, that’s one of the stated purposes. 1 Corinthians 1:9 says, “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” This is so powerful, and it consummates His purpose for coming.

If He only saved us or destroyed the works of the devil or gave us life, without bringing us into fellowship or oneness with Himself and with the Father, all the foregoing would have never been enough.

He saved us from sin, and gave us His life, to make it possible for us to become one with the Father; He brought us into fellowship—the fellowship of the God-kind. This is the amazing blessing that Jesus brought to us—the big thing that He made possible—fellowship with the Father. Now, anything that belongs to the Father belongs to us; we’re heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ. Glory to God!

                PRAYER

Precious Father, thank you for your boundless love and grace towards me that has elevated me to your class of being, making me an associate of the God-kind. My joy knows no bounds as I relish the benefits of my fellowship, oneness, and partnership with you, now and evermore, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified together.

1 Corinthians 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, [be] with you all. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES WEDNESDAY, 31ST OCTOBER . Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨ ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW YOU LOOK ✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES WEDNESDAY, 31ST OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW YOU LOOK ✨

But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed (James 1:25).

The Word of God is the mirror of God. The Bible says anyone who hears the Word and doesn’t act accordingly is like a man who looks at himself in a mirror, turns around, and forgets what he looked like. (James 1:23-24). This means that God expects you to always remember who you are according to the Word; He wants you to always remember that His Word projects your image as “the glory of God!”

You might say, “No, that can’t be”; but 2 Corinthians 3:18 explains it. It says as we look at the glory of God in a mirror, we’re metamorphosed; we’re changed into the same image, from glory to glory. What does this mean? We know that a mirror only reflects whatever is set before it. Now, as you study the Word, particularly the Epistles, the reflection you see is the glory of God; that’s the real you. This is what the Lord is asking you not to forget.

The Word, the mirror of God, reveals that you’re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus; you’re the seed of Abraham; you’re an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ! These and other realities are reflections of you that you shouldn’t forget.

You’re the epitome of God’s righteousness; you’re His living tabernacle; the embodiment of His wisdom, love, and grace! See yourself that way; talk and act accordingly, and you’ll experience the reality of Christ and His glory in your life always.

PRAYER
Blessed Father, I thank you for your glory and righteousness in my life! I’m making progress with giant strides; I’m excellent, and full of glory. Your Word is working mightily in me, causing me to prosper in all I do, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY: James 1:23-24 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TUESDAY, 30TH OCTOBER. Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨A HERITAGE OF PROSPERITY.✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TUESDAY, 30TH OCTOBER. Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨A HERITAGE OF PROSPERITY.✨

...Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant (Psalm 35:27).

Every Christian has the right to be happy, prosperous, healthy, and sound. In 3 John 1:2, the Apostle John reveals the mind of the Spirit, saying, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” You don’t have to pray or beg God to prosper you; the Christian isn’t the poor trying to be rich, but the rich discovering his inexhaustible riches and inheritance in Christ.

Financial prosperity is your God-ordained right, for you’re the seed of Abraham. The Bible says Abraham was blessed in all things (Genesis 24:1); he was rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold (Genesis 13:2). Like Abraham, you’ve been blessed and enriched in all things unto all bountifulness. Galatians 3:29 says, “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” You’re an heir of God, and a joint-heir with Christ.

Being a joint-heir with Christ means all His assets and estates are yours, as much as they’re His; you own everything He owns, and guess what? He owns the whole world, including all its precious stones and natural resources! Thus, the whole world, plus its entire wealth, belongs to you. Can you dare to think and live with this consciousness?

Paul understood this; having studied the Scriptures, he concluded that ALL things are yours (1 Corinthians 3:21). You don’t have to struggle for anything in life; everything you need has been granted you; there’s therefore no need to even ask for anything.

2 Peter 1:3 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” This is your calling. The day you became a Christian, you accepted that call; you embraced a heritage of blessings, and endorsed the life of supernatural prosperity, success, and victories.

                PRAYER

Blessed Father, what a place I have in Christ, and what joy fills my soul to know that you’ve blessed me with all I require for life and godliness! Mine is a heritage of blessings, and a life of supernatural increase, prosperity and glory in Christ Jesus. Thank you for your grace at work in me to bless and lift others, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 8:9 AMPC For you are becoming progressively acquainted with and recognizing more strongly and clearly the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (His kindness, His gracious generosity, His undeserved favor and spiritual blessing), [in] that though He was [so very] rich, yet for your sakes He became [so very] poor, in order that by His poverty you might become enriched (abundantly supplied).

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly [places] in Christ:

Psalm 16:6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant [places]; yea, I have a goodly heritage.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES MONDAY, 29TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨ RESPOND TO THE WORD…NOT TO CIRCUMSTANCES ✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES MONDAY, 29TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ RESPOND TO THE WORD…NOT TO CIRCUMSTANCES ✨

But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me (Matthew 14:30).

On a certain day, Peter and the other disciples were in a boat, far in the sea, when they saw someone walking on the water towards them. Frightened, they thought they’d seen a ghost; but to assuage their fear, the Lord said to them, “...Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid” (Matthew 14:27 NKJV). To be double sure, Peter replied, “...Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water” (Matthew 14:28 NKJV). And Jesus said to Peter, “Come!”

Straightaway, Peter got out of the boat, into the water, and started walking on water to meet Jesus; a remarkable miracle! However, as Peter approached Jesus, the wind and waves became boisterous, and Peter became distracted, and began to sink (Matthew 14:30). He walked on the water as long as his attention was on the Master, but things changed when he shifted his focus to the prevailing circumstances.

Refuse to allow circumstances run your life. You’re a creature of faith, and faith doesn’t consider circumstances; faith responds only to the Word. No matter how fierce the attacks of the enemy may be, refuse to be moved; walk on in victory. Be like Abraham who refused to consider his body, when he was about one hundred years old, neither did he consider the deadness of Sarah’s womb. Rather, he was strong in faith, giving glory to God (Romans 4:19-20).

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 says, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”*_ Stay your mind on the Word always; look away from the challenge, the difficulty, unto Jesus, the living Word, and He’ll keep you in perfect peace; the peace of prosperity. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
My gaze is fixed on the Lord and His eternal Word. I refuse to be moved, deterred, distracted or influenced by situations or circumstances that are contrary to the provisions of God’s Word. I soar above circumstances, and walk in perpetual victory, because I live by the Word. Blessed be God!

FURTHER STUDY: Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I [will be] with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. *||*

Romans 4:19-20 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES SUNDAY, 28TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨ ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE ✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES SUNDAY, 28TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE ✨

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth (Mark 9:23).

Whenever you respond to God on the basis of His Word, you’re sure to have a testimony. That’s because faith is the response of the human spirit to the Word of God.

God’s Word always requires a response from you; that response is the proof that you believe the Word. And to the one who “believes,” anything is possible. That means you can do anything, have anything, go anywhere, be anything, as long as you believe. What is it to believe? Believing has nothing to do with mere mental assent; it’s not passive; it’s active. Believing is an action word; it’s the verb of faith.

The question then is, what do you believe? And what can you believe? It doesn’t matter what the problem is, if you can believe, all things are possible to you, and with you. So, it’s about what you believe. What you believe, you become. Believe that you can be pregnant and bring forth your own children! Believe that you can walk again! Believe that you can see again! Believe that you can be whole again!

Perhaps sickness has attacked your home or you have a loved one that’s suffering terribly from a debilitating ailment, and medical science says there’s no cure. For the Christian, there’s no such thing as “no cure”; nothing is impossible, because anything is possible! You can work a miracle and have a testimony even now.

Instead of crying about the situation, lamenting how dire it is, effect a change by acting on the Word. Put your faith to work. Consider Moses and the children of Israel: the Red Sea was in front of them, with the fierce Egyptian army on their trail. Moses cried unto God for help. But God said, “Moses, stretch your hand over the water and divide it.” Moses did as he was instructed, and the Red Sea split wide open.

It makes no difference what’s before you, or behind you, use the Word to effect a change; calm the storm with the Word. Jesus didn’t say “nothing shall be impossible unto God”; rather, He said, “...nothing shall be impossible unto you” (Matthew 17:20). That means you can do anything, and be everything God has planned for you to be. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for imparting faith to my spirit, and helping me build it strong with the Word. My faith is alive; there’s nothing impossible unto me; there’re no hopeless situations I can’t change, because I’m strong in faith. Thank you, Lord, for a life of unending victories, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 8:35-37* Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES SATURDAY, 27TH OCTOBER. Pastor Chris. TOPIC ✨THE LIGHT AND HOPE OF THE WORLD. ✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES SATURDAY, 27TH OCTOBER.
Pastor Chris.
TOPIC ✨THE LIGHT AND HOPE OF THE WORLD. ✨

And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’s (Obadiah 1:21).

When the Bible says, “saviours shall come up from mount Zion,” it brings to mind the words of Jesus that you’re the salt of the earth, and the light of the world (Matthew 5:13 & 14). This means that it makes no difference the darkness and problems in the world, you’re the hope and the solution that the world needs. The problems and hardship in the world today are your opportunities to shine and manifest the glory of God.

No wonder Jesus said, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). He said in John 9:5, “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” Then in Matthew 5:14, He said, “Ye are the light of the world….” That means, like Him, you’re a saviour to your world; as long as you’re in the world, you’re the light of the world. What does light do?

Light gives direction; it describes. You’re the one to show the world how to live, what to do, and how to be successful, irrespective of the darkness, because Philippians 2:15 says, “That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.” In John 8:12, Jesus said, “…I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” Then in John 20:21, He said, “…as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.”

The Lord Jesus did His part in obtaining salvation for all men through His vicarious death and glorious resurrection. Now, it’s your responsibility to tell others about His saving power. That, really, is the solution to the problems in today’s world: the Gospel of Jesus Christ! There’s no greater light than the light of His righteousness with which we must light up everyone in our world.

Let the Gospel-fire burn in you, and through you; you’re God’s hands of love, mercy and compassion to the world. You’re the light and hope of the world!

                PRAYER

Blessed be God! I’m divinely positioned as the light and hope of an ailing world! Through me, the unsaved in my world hear and receive the light of the Gospel, and are transformed and turned from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Timothy 1:11-12 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. 12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

2 Corinthians 5:18-19 And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Acts 26:16-18 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; 17 Delivering thee from the people, and [from] the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, 18 To open their eyes, [and] to turn [them] from darkness to light, and [from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FRIDAY, 26TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨ GRACED TO EXCEL IN EVERY GOOD WORK ✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FRIDAY, 26TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ GRACED TO EXCEL IN EVERY GOOD WORK ✨

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8).

Every Christian has the grace to excel in every good work. Our opening verse says God is able to direct all the grace you require for anything in this life towards you, such that you’re never behind in competence or ability. You’re qualified for any task; that’s what it means to have “all sufficiency in all things”; you have all the competencies, special skills and abilities required for excellence in all things.

The word translated “sufficiency” in our opening verse is the Greek word “autarkeia,” which indicates a state of self-sufficiency, whereby you require no aid or support. God has given you a life that’s so balanced, such that you’re so efficient, effective, and capable that you don’t require any help! Think, see, and live from this perspective of limitless possibilities, and endless opportunities. You’re graced to excel in every aspect of your life: your job, family, academics and daily pursuits.

2 Corinthians 3:5 says, “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.” The word “sufficiency,” this time, derives from another Greek word, “hikanotes,” which means competence; being qualified enough to be able; to be up to the task. No matter the challenges you might face in life, they’re bread for you; you’re competent to handle them.

No wonder Paul could boldly affirm in Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” If you were chosen for something, there’s no need wondering whether or not you can do it; your competence is of God. You’ve been specially enabled to live supernaturally to the glory of God.

Even now, declare, “I make great things happen! Good things are happening for me and through me; I’m excellent, and I have an excellent life, because I’m graced to produce excellence.” Blessed be God!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for granting me the grace to excel in every good work. I’m excellent, and I have an excellent life. Your divine power works in me mightily, and I go forth to impact and influence my world with your divine presence, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY: Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, THURSDAY, 25TH OCTOBER. Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨KEEP WINNING SOULS.✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES, THURSDAY, 25TH OCTOBER. Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨KEEP WINNING SOULS.✨

Send us around the world with the news of your saving power and your eternal plan for all mankind (Psalm 67:2 TLB).

In Mathew 28:19-20, the Lord Jesus instructed: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” He’s given us the mandate to evangelise the world before He returns. In Luke 19:13, He said, parabolically, “…Occupy till I come”; that means keep working; keep preaching; keep winning souls.

We’re the bearers of His righteousness; His light in a dark world. We must take the light of the Gospel to men and women around the world, as a witness to all nations (Matthew 24:14). We can’t afford to be weak, lukewarm, or quiet. We must maintain the glow and passion of the Spirit, and keep preaching the Gospel in the wisdom and power of God. Yes, we’ll face oppositions; there’re many adversaries; there’s a dark realm over this world and in this world, which we’re set against. But none of these should deter us from preaching the Gospel.

We must have the same mind with the Apostle Paul; read his inspiring conviction and resolve to preach the Gospel: “And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God” (Acts 20:22-24).

Remember, this glorious Gospel which has been committed to our trust is God’s saving power that unveils His righteousness, eternal life, and destiny for all mankind; it’s worth living for, and if need be, dying for. So, refuse to give in or cower under any pressure, adversities or oppositions; keep winning souls.

                PRAYER

In the Name of the Lord Jesus, I declare that the righteousness of God, eternal life and immortality are unveiled to men and women around the world today, as they receive the Gospel. I break the power of Satan over men’s lives, and affirm that the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ shines in their hearts. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Mark 16:15-16 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES WEDNESDAY, 24TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨ LIVING IN HIS NAME ✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES WEDNESDAY, 24TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ LIVING IN HIS NAME ✨

…whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him (Colossians 3:17).

The Lord Jesus has all authority in heaven and earth. He said in Matthew 28:18-19, “...All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” By that statement, He bequeathed His authority to us, the Church. Everything that exists in this world and beyond is subject to His Name. And you live in His Name!

The Name of Jesus means much more than an identity; it refers to His authority and His character. Being born again, you were born into Christ; you inherited His Name; therefore, you have His authority and His character. You function in His place. Understand this: when you talk, move or act, it’s literally as though Jesus is the one talking, moving, and acting! All of heaven, hell, nature, living, and non-living things, respond to you as they would to Jesus! What a blessed reality!

I encourage you to do a personal study on the Name of Jesus: what that Name represents to the Church! It’s the Name above all names; the Name that opens every door! That’s the Name given to us to live by, and use as an instrument. The Master gave us the power of attorney to use His Name—to act in His stead as His full, legal representatives.

You have heaven’s respect; you can go anywhere and be heard; you can pray to God Almighty and He’d answer, all because of Jesus. In His Name, you have authority over devils; you can speak with new tongues, take up serpents, if you drink any deadly thing, you’ll not be hurt, and you can lay hands on the sick and they’ll recover. Blessed be God!

There’s no demon, sickness or trouble that can stand against that Name! His Name is greater than cancer; it replaces maimed limbs; it opens blind eyes and unstops deaf ears; it raises the dead. In His Name, you’re more than a conqueror, a champion forever; eternally fruitful and productive. What a Name!

CONFESSION

Dear Father, I thank you for the power of attorney you’ve granted me to live in the Name of Jesus. In His Name, I live triumphantly, over and above circumstances, and the perils of this world. I live in perpetual peace, prosperity, health, success and greatness. Hallelujah!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TUESDAY, 23RD OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ HE GUIDES YOU IN THE REALITIES OF LIFE ✨

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth…and he will shew you things to come (John 16:13).

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth. Truth means reality; so, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of reality. Having Him in your life is such a profound advantage, because Jesus said He’d guide you into all reality; it’s His job. He’ll guide you into the reality of your situation, the reality of your family, the reality of your job, your finances, your future, your relationship with God; the reality of your transcendent life in Christ.

Enquire of Him, and He’ll show you the future: the future of your success and greatness from glory to glory. Much more than that, He’ll guide and lead you in that future. With Him, you can never miss your way or walk in darkness. You can trust Him with your health. Sometimes, Christians journey from doctor to doctor, trying to find out about their health; many are enslaved by fear and their symptomatic diagnosis. Trust the Holy Spirit. He already knows everything about your body; His presence in you keeps you in perfect health, ensuring no anomalies or defects thrive in any of your organs or systems.

Now, the Holy Spirit guiding you doesn’t mean there’ll be no challenges; but those challenges are definitely for your promotion. 2 Corinthians 4:17 says, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” Someone may say, “The Holy Spirit told me to get this job, but ever since I started the job, it’s been one challenge or the other.” Relax!

The same Holy Spirit will show you the way of victory; He’ll give you visions for guidance. Remember the words of the Spirit through the Apostle Paul: “…God is faithful, who will…with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it” (1 Corinthians 10:13). 1 John 4:4: “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” Isaiah 54:17, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper….” Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit, my teacher and my guide. By reason of His indwelling, I’m guided, protected, and inspired to make wise choices, and the right decisions. He counsels me from within, thus I walk in the precision and accuracy of the Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:

Psalm 16:6-7 CEV You make my life pleasant, and my future is bright. 7 I praise you, LORD, for being my guide. Even in the darkest night, your teachings fill my mind.

Ephesians 1:17-18 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

1 Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES MONDAY, 22ND OCTOBER . Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨ YOU’VE CRUCIFIED THE FLESH ✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES MONDAY, 22ND OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ YOU’VE CRUCIFIED THE FLESH ✨

And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts (Galatians 5:24).

There’re Christians who are enslaved by certain habits, which they keep praying to God to help them overcome. Unfortunately, for most of them, the more they pray, the more they find themselves controlled and dominated by those habits. This has left them confused, and thinking their situation is beyond remedy. Some have even backslidden, because they thought they couldn’t be free.

But in studying the Scriptures, we find that it says in Romans 6:14, “For Sin shall not have dominion over you....” Our opening verse is also unequivocal: “…they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts”; meaning that if you’re in Christ, you can’t be bound by any habit. So, what then is the problem of those who seem to be in bondage to certain habits? It’s simply their lack of knowledge.

God never asked us to fight the flesh or struggle with sin and habits; we’ve crucified the flesh; we’ve overcome the world; we have dominion over Satan and sin. So, when some Christians or even preachers counsel others to “crucify the flesh,” it’s a contradiction.

It’s fruitless to try to be who you already are or get what you already have. If God says you’ve crucified the flesh, then that’s it! Your role is to respond and say, “I don’t get, and can never be, dominated by sin or the flesh, because I am Christ’s. Therefore, I’ve crucified the flesh with its affections and lusts.”

Galatians 5:25 says, “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” Since we were born into the spirit and we live in the spirit, we’re to walk in the spirit. So, simply, if you’ve not been walking in the spirit, start walking in the spirit; that is, in the light of God’s Word. Declare, “From this day, my flesh won’t control me; my mind won’t dictate to me; I refuse to be sense-ruled, for the Word of God has become my compass, and I live the Word.”

Galatians 5:16 says, “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” How do you walk in the Spirit? It’s by walking in the light of God’s Word. It’s by walking in the truth in Christ; in the light of your righteousness and glory in Him. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
Sin has no dominion over me. I live in the spirit, having crucified the flesh with its affections and lusts. I’ve overcome the world; I’m superior to Satan; I’m washed, sanctified, and justified, in the Name of the Lord Jesus! Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 6:11-14 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members [as] instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members [as] instruments of righteousness unto God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES SUNDAY, 21ST OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ THE FATHER’S PRIDE ✨

Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures (James 1:18).

The New Living Translation of the scripture above says “He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession.” Of all the things in creation, we’re the first and the best; we’re the Father’s crown and beauty. This doesn’t describe everybody in the world, but we who are born again; those to whom He gave birth through His Word are His trophies; His excellent workmanship.

What makes us unique is that we have the same life with Him; we’re in His class of being. Of everything that He made, we’re the ones called into oneness with Him; the only ones who are in fellowship with Him in spirit and in truth. Not even the angels have that privilege.

1 Peter 2:9 declares: “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.” You were created for God’s glory. Isaiah 43:7 says, “Even every one that is called by my name: for I HAVE CREATED HIM FOR MY GLORY, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.”

Not only have you been brought into the glory of God, you’re the effulgence of His glory, just like Jesus. The Bible says He’s the brightness of God’s glory; the express image of His person (Hebrews 1:3). Then in 1 John 4:17, we read that “…as he is, so are we in this world.”

You’re God’s reproduction, His peculiar treasure. In Deuteronomy 14:2, He said, “For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.”

The Holy Spirit re-echoes a similar truth through the Apostle Paul in Titus 2:14, saying, “Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.”

Take pleasure in your uniqueness; you’re the Father’s pride; the apple of His eyes (Zechariah 2:8); His pearl of great price. Hallelujah.

PRAYER

I ascribe all glory, honour and majesty to you, righteous Father, King of glory; the great and wonderful God. Thank you for making me a peculiar treasure, separated unto you to bring you glory. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY:

1 Peter 2:9 AMP But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God's] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Ephesians 2:10 AMP For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL ✨TOPIC : ANOINTED TO KNOW THE TRUTH.✨ Saturday, October 20th. Pastor Chris

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL ✨TOPIC : ANOINTED TO KNOW THE TRUTH.✨
Saturday, October 20th.
Pastor Chris

Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time… But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things (1 John 2:18-20).

The Scripture reveals that in the last days there’ll be many antichrists, many who’ll come in their own names with false doctrines. A false doctrine is a perversion of truth, intended to deceive and lure people away from the true Gospel of Christ.

However, as a child of God, it makes no difference how many antichrists, false preachers, and false teachers are out there; you can’t be deceived. 1 John 4:3-4 says, “And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome THEM: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” “Them” in the scripture above refers to the antichrist, false prophets, and teachers; you’ve already overcome them all.

Your heart and mind are anointed to know the truth. Because of the Holy Spirit who lives in you, you’re able to tell right from wrong, and to discern the right teaching of the Gospel from false doctrines; you have insight into Kingdom mysteries and secrets. No one can toss you to and fro by any wind of doctrine; you know, and judge the truth.

1 John 2:27 tells us, “But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” The Holy Spirit is the Lord of the Church, and when you hear the Word of God, the same Spirit in you bears witness with your spirit that what you’re hearing is the truth. That’s why you can’t be swayed from the truth, because there’s a special ability from the Holy Spirit that makes you know, and keeps you in the truth.

Trust the guidance of the Holy Spirit in your life. Apart from helping you recognise all false and antichrist doctrines, He’ll also cause you to make right and accurate choices, decisions and investments in life.

                PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the anointing of the Holy Spirit in my life. I’m anointed to decipher between light and darkness, and I’m deeply rooted in the Word of truth. I can never be deceived, because I dwell in the light, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY: John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FRIDAY, 19TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨ WE’RE MORE THAN “BELIEVERS” ✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FRIDAY, 19TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ WE’RE MORE THAN “BELIEVERS” ✨

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

All around the world, people refer to Christians as “believers,” but that’s a general colloquial communication that tends to bring Christianity into some mundanity. Yes, the Bible says, “And these signs shall follow them that believe…” (Mark 16:17), but when you believed, something happened. We didn’t “believe” to become “believers”; we believed to receive something: the God-life! In John 6:47, Jesus said, “…He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” We believed so that we may possess “everlasting life”—the God-life.

We’re more than believers. To elucidate this further, let’s look at it this way: If you took an entrance examination into a certain institution, and you were successful, you’d become a student, right? Sure! Having already been admitted as a student, you wouldn’t call yourself a candidate or an applicant to the school anymore, because you’re now a student! You were an applicant, so you could become a student.

Likewise, we believed to become possessors of the God-life; we didn’t believe for nothing, or to be merely referred to as “believers.” Our opening verse says, “…whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Every “believer” in Christ got, and became, something: we got eternal life, and became God-men and God-women. The Apostle Peter puts it rightly: we’re partakers of the divine nature; associates of the God-kind (2 Peter 1:4).

You’ve transcended from a believer. Believing was the verb to take you into possessing everything that the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ wrought on your behalf. No wonder the Bible says all things are yours (1 Corinthians 3:21).

Take possession of all that’s yours in Christ and enjoy your triumphant life in Him. He came, not just to reveal the Father to us, but to bring us into oneness with Him, and make us gods! Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
All things are mine, because I’m the seed of Abraham, an heir of God, and a joint-heir with Christ. I walk, conscious of my prosperity, health, and victory, for in Christ, I’ve obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His own will. And by Him I reign, and rule in life! Blessed be God!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

2 Peter 1:3-4 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

1 Corinthians 3:21 Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES THURSDAY, 18TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨ WE MUST KEEP PRAYING ✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES THURSDAY, 18TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ WE MUST KEEP PRAYING ✨

And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint (Luke 18:1).

There’re many things happening in our world today that call for our importunity in prayer. If we must change things in the direction of God’s purpose and plan, then we must keep interceding for our nations and the environments in which we deal. We must also pray for the leaders of nations.

In 1 Timothy 2:1-3, we’re admonished to pray for kings, and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a peaceable and quiet life in all godliness and honesty. This isn’t something we do once and go to sleep. The Bible says, “...The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]” (James 5:16 AMPC). Notice the word, “continued”; we’re to continue in intercession for the nations, leaders, and peoples of the world. If we want peace in our nations and in our environments, then we must pray in line with God’s Word.

Out of ignorance, many blame God for the things that go wrong in their lives and in our world: the troubles, the wars, earthquakes, rainstorms, mudslides, floods, wildfires, and other disasters. What such people have failed to realise or are unaware of is that the responsibility, as well as the authority to establish the will of God on the earth and keep Satan and his demons in check, rests with us—the Church.

It’s our responsibility to ensure that whatever changes we seek in our lives as individuals, in the lives of others, and in the nations of the world, are effected through intercessory prayers. Never think that your prayer isn’t making any difference; you make great impact when you pray. Therefore, continue in prayer for your country, for God’s people, and ministers of the Gospel; for the leaders and those in positions of authority; for the sick, needy, and those in pain. Even when you don’t “feel” like praying, pray!

Always stir yourself and respond to the call and urgency of prayer from your spirit. When you do this consistently, intercession will become a part of you, resulting in great changes in your life, in the lives of others, in your nation, and in your immediate environment, to the glory of Christ.

PRAYER
Dear Father, your righteousness prevails, and is established in the nations of the world, and in the hearts of men, as your children all around the world proclaim the truth of the Gospel. The hearts of the leaders of nations are mantled with wisdom to walk in your will, and fulfil your purpose, which is the spread of the Gospel to the ends of the earth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES WEDNESDAY, 17TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨ SPEAK SPIRITUAL LANGUAGE ✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES WEDNESDAY, 17TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ SPEAK SPIRITUAL LANGUAGE ✨

And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ (1 Corinthians 3:1).

The Apostle Paul had an experience with the Christians at Corinth; he wasn’t able to communicate with them in spiritual language. Therefore, in our opening verse, he reprimanded them for being carnal.

On another occasion, he said to the Christians in Rome, “I’m having to communicate with you at your level, because you’re yet to come to a higher level of maturity.” He said, “I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh…” (Romans 6:19).

It reminds of the experience Jesus also had with His disciples. John 11 tells us that Lazarus had fallen sick and died. When Jesus was informed, He said to His disciples, “…Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep” (John 11:11).

His disciples, not understanding His spiritual language, replied, “Lord, if he is asleep, he will get better.” Jesus had to tell them plainly, “…Lazarus is dead” (John 11:14). He had to speak to them in a language they could understand.

Have you ever found yourself in situations where you had difficulty expressing God’s truth to carnal men? For example, you couldn’t say, “I have a headache,” even though you felt a headache. The carnal man, on the other hand, sees nothing wrong communicating at such a low level, failing to realise that as Christians, we don’t walk by our feelings, but by the Word.

You ought not to talk sickness, even when you feel the symptoms of sickness in your body. Use the Word against any pain or anomaly in your body; command it to cease, and it’ll pass out of your body. Hebrews 13:5-6 says, “…for he*_ (God) _*hath said…that we may boldly say….” You’re only supposed to say what you have, that God gave to you. Don’t affirm or accept anything that’s from the devil. Talk spiritual. Speak the Word only, and always.

CONFESSION
I’m what God says I am. God’s Word is my life; therefore, I live out the Word. My life is the testimony of God’s grace and infinite blessings. The Word of God is in my heart and in my mouth, and as I speak it forth, circumstances align with God’s perfect will for my life, in Jesus’ Name.

FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 12:36-37* But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Hebrews 13:5-6 [Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TUESDAY, 16TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨ THE NEW TESTAMENT IDENTIFIES YOU ✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TUESDAY, 16TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ THE NEW TESTAMENT IDENTIFIES YOU ✨

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only… (James 1:22).

To the new creation, the Word of God is a mirror, and not a compilation of commandments to be obeyed. The Christian is a Word practitioner. This is something many are yet to understand.

For example, when you read in Ephesians 5:3-4: “But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks,” it’s not a commandment. It’s not telling you what you must not do. Rather, it’s showing you who you are; the righteousness of God in Christ, with a sanctified heart, mind, and tongue.

The Word of God reflects your true nature, identity, origin, and heritage in Christ. The more you look at the Word, the more you see yourself. God’s Word is life; something to live out.

For example, when Jesus said, “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another” (John 13:34), He was addressing men and women of the senses; people who weren’t born again. But being born again, and having received the Holy Spirit, the Bible says, _“…the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us” (Romans 5:5).

We’re not now commanded to love; we’re born of love; we’re the offspring of love; love is our nature. Thus, Romans 5:5 is a description of who you are. Once you can accept it, you become it. That’s the principle! When you read something in the New Testament that sounds like, “Don’t do this or don’t do that,” it means we’re those who don’t do such things! It’s a picture of you.

The Word, particularly the Epistles, paint the picture of the new creation. That’s how come as you’re studying and meditating on the Scriptures, suddenly, the Word of God comes alive to you! It then becomes how you see yourself every day.

That’s the miracle of growth, because as you discover who you are in the Word, you discover your beauty, and your glory increases. It’s a life of ever-increasing glory through the Word. Hallelujah.

CONFESSION
I’m the expression of the unseen Christ, the brightness of His glory. As He is, so am I in this world; and as I stay my mind on the picture of me that I see in the Word, I’m transformed; I experience ever-increasing glory. Hallelujah!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES MONDAY, 15TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨ RESPOND ONLY IN LOVE ✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES MONDAY, 15TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ RESPOND ONLY IN LOVE ✨

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you (Matthew 5:44).

From the verse above, it’s clear that there’ll always be those who might dislike you, persecute you, and despise you; but you’re only permitted to respond to them in love. The actions or attitude of such people should never provoke you to act contrary to your true nature, which is love. God is love, and anyone who loves is of God, and knows God.

The summation of God’s character is love; we’re therefore to emulate Him by walking in love. Ephesians 5:2 (AMPC) admonishes us to “…walk in love, [esteeming and delighting in one another] as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a slain offering and sacrifice to God [for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance.” 1 John 4:7-8 says, “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”

In our journey of faith, there’ll always be those who’ll test us; everyone who relates with you is placed there by God for your benefit; whether they’re helping you or they’re against you doesn’t make any difference. It doesn’t stop God’s plan of promoting you. If they’re kind, loving, and helpful to you, appreciate them and praise God for them; if they’re otherwise, love them nonetheless.

If someone accuses you falsely, for example, or you’re lied against, don’t get upset and try to justify your innocence to the point of acting in a manner that’s not beffitng to righteouness. Rather, keep walking in love. Love is a force—the greatest power in the universe—and it’ll always win.

Our love-walk is the primary proof that we love the Lord, and it speaks of our oneness and like-mindedness with Him. Romans 5:5 says the love of God has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit; that means you have the capacity to love as He does. Jesus said, “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another” (John 13:35). What a way to distinguish ourselves from the rest of the world!

PRAYER
Dear Father, you’ve given me the ability to love like you, and I’m so grateful! You’ve granted me an understanding of the extraordinary dimensions of your love; that love radiates through me profusely to others! Thank you for making me the dispenser of your goodness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY: Luke 6:27-35* But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, 28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. 29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the [one] cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not [to take thy] coat also. 30 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask [them] not again. 31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. 32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. 33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. 34 And if ye lend [to them] of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. 35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and [to] the evil. Ephesians 4:1-3 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, 2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL SUNDAY 14TH OCTOBER 2018 PST. CHRIS TOPIC ✨RIGHTEOUSNESS MAKES US MASTERS ✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL
SUNDAY 14TH OCTOBER 2018
PST. CHRIS
TOPIC ✨RIGHTEOUSNESS MAKES US MASTERS ✨

For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).

Righteousness is the nature of God, which was imparted to your spirit when you were born again; it’s a gift from God to the whole world, but not everyone has received it. However, those who receive the gift of righteousness, according to the scriptures, shall reign in life! The Amplified version says, they shall reign as kings in life.

The word “reign” in Romans 5:17 above is actually a verb, which in the original Greek construction means “to king”; that expresses authority, dominion, and mastery. Righteousness makes us masters in life; we reign, or “king” in life, through righteousness. Righteousness-consciousness eliminates any sense of guilt, condemnation, or inferiority from us; it places us ahead and above Satan and his accusations. It also gives us the boldness and confidence to pray to God and expect answers; we’re unafraid and unashamed before Him, because we have His righteousness.

Without an understanding of righteousness, a Christian can’t live victoriously over the enemy. He’ll be subject to the elements of the world, not understanding the extent and potency of his authority in Christ. This is  why  you  must  keep  growing  in  the  knowledge  of God’s  Word.  Ephesians  4:14  says,  “That  we  henceforth be  no  more  children,  tossed  to  and  fro,  and  carried about  with  every  wind  of  doctrine,  by  the  sleight  of men,  and  cunning  craftiness,  whereby  they  lie  in  wait to deceive.”

Be  conscious  that  you’re  the  righteousness  of God  in  Christ  Jesus.  There’re  some  Christians  who experience  spiritual  attacks;  that’s  because  they  aren’t righteousness-conscious;  they  aren’t  living  the  Word. They  haven’t  come  to  the  realisation  that  they’re kings  in  life.  Isaiah  32:1  lets  us  know  that  kings  reign in righteousness.

By  virtue  of  your  new  life  in  Christ,  and  your position  as  a  righteous  king-priest,  the  whole  world is  subdued  before  you.  You  have  the  mastery  over Satan  and  his  cohorts  of  darkness;  you’re  a  champion for life! Glory to God!

PRAYER

Dear  Father,  I  thank  you  for  your  righteousness  in my  spirit,  which  has  made  me  a  master  over  Satan and  the  powers  of  darkness,  and  has  put  me  in  a position  of  advantage.  I  reign  and  rule  as  a  king, walking  in  mastery  and  victory  over  circumstances. The  world  is  subdued  before  me,  in  the  Name  of  the Lord Jesus. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES SATURDAY, 13TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨ YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF TRUTH IS IMPORTANT✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES SATURDAY, 13TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ YOUR UNDERSTANDING OF TRUTH IS IMPORTANT✨

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32).

In Mark 7:25-30, we read about the Syrophenician woman who came to Jesus to heal her demon-possessed daughter. In their ensuing dialogue, Jesus said to her, “...go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter” (Mark 7:29).

When she got home, she found that her daughter had, indeed, been restored to health. When the Lord said to the woman, “Go home; the devil is gone out of your daughter,” He didn’t try to confirm whether what He said had happened, because what He uttered was Truth.

On a certain occasion, I was ministering to a dear lady at the Healing School, and the demon was trying to resist; screaming, “I’m not leaving!” While still throwing tantrums and manifesting in the lady, I said, “The demon is out; she’s free!” And I moved straightaway to minister to the next person on the healing line; at that very moment, she was restored to health. Glory to God!

Now, all that physical manifestation from the demon was a lie. When I said by the Spirit, “The demon is out,” that was Truth. This shows the importance of our understanding of Truth. The Word of God on your lips is God talking, and no demon or force can resist it. Someone may think the devil was still there, just because the devil said, “I’m not leaving”; no. We, through the Word and the Spirit, determine truth; not Satan or circumstances.

Truth, in the Kingdom of God, has nothing to do with physical manifestations or sensory perceptions. Moreover, truth is different from fact. Maybe the fact is that there’s no money in your bank account, but it’s not true that you’re broke. So, you’re not telling the truth when you say, “I’m broke,” or “I have a fever.” Your experiences, especially when they don’t measure up to new creation realities, aren’t “Truth”; they’re shadows.

For instance, someone may say, “I don’t want to say I’m sick, but I’m not feeling fine.” No! Faith doesn’t talk like that. What the Bible says is that those who dwell in Zion “…shall not say, I am sick…” (Isaiah 33:24). When you say, “I’m sick,” you’ve uttered a lie, because the truth is, the new creation can’t be the sick.

Discover the truth of God’s Word concerning your health, finances, family, job, business, and other areas of your life, and boldly declare the same truth in agreement with God.

CONFESSION

The Holy Spirit unveils the truth of God’s Word to my spirit, enlightening the eyes of my understanding to know the hope of His calling, and the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. I’m what God says I am, and I have what He says I have, because His Word is Truth. Blessed be God!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FRIDAY, 12TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨ YOUR VICTORIOUS LIFE IN CHRIST✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FRIDAY, 12TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ YOUR VICTORIOUS LIFE IN CHRIST✨

Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him (Hebrews 10:38).

When the Bible says that you’re more than a conqueror, it’s an assurance of victory; you’re a victor for life; you’re absolutely indomitable. Nothing can hurt or affect you. That’s what Jesus said: “If you drink any deadly thing, you’ll not be hurt” (Mark 16:18). You can’t be poisoned, because the life in you is divine. Nevertheless, the Christian who hasn’t imbibed the Word and learnt to exercise his faith can be easily buffeted by the crises of life.

Imagine that a Christian only ate some food, not something deadly, yet he’s so troubled by an “upset stomach”; in the light of what Jesus said, whatever you eat or drink should have no negative effect on you. Someone says, “I was bitten by an insect, that’s why I got all these allergies.” Those who suffer such things haven’t learnt to put their faith to work; they’re ignorant of their victorious life in Christ.

Recall the Apostle Paul’s experience in Acts 28; a venomous snake bit him, but he didn’t shriek in pain; rather, he simply shook it off into the fire without suffering any harm (Acts 28:5). The Bible says those watching were waiting for Paul to swell, fall down and die, as a result of the venom, but when that didn’t happen, they concluded that Paul must be a god.

Truly, isn’t that what the Word says we are? Psalm 82:6 says, “…Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.” As one who’s born again, you’re divine; your life is no longer based on your blood. That’s the reason you’re not supposed to suffer any blood disease. Now that you’re in Christ, the Word of God is the life of your flesh. The Holy Spirit energises your body, because your body is His living tabernacle.

Remember what He tells us in Romans 8:11: “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” This happened the day the Holy Spirit took up His abode in you; He vitalised your body and has made it impregnable to sickness, disease and infirmity. Strengthen your faith with these realities and keep living the victorious life in Christ.

CONFESSION
My faith is strong and prevailing! I dominate the circumstances of life, living triumphantly through my meditation and confession of the Word. Hallelujah!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES THURSDAY, 11TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨ HE’S PERFECT IN ALL HIS WAYS ✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES THURSDAY, 11TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ HE’S PERFECT IN ALL HIS WAYS ✨

The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works (Psalm 145:17).

As Christians, oftentimes we’re faced with tough challenges; things happen to us and around us that aren’t consistent with our desires, expectations and the will of God for our lives. It may be the loss of a loved one, in spite of your prayers and intercessions, and the situation is causing you serious distraction in your Christian walk.

Now the enemy is throwing thoughts at you; you even think God just wasn’t fair to you or to the victim. In your mind, you hold Him responsible for what happened; you’re thinking, “He could have done something, but He didn’t, despite all my prayers.” But the question you need to answer is, “Who is Jesus to you?” Is it possible for Him to be charged with error? Could He ever make a mistake?

When you find yourself in the kind of situation we’ve described above, there’re two things to consider: first, don’t blame God. Believe that He’s perfect in all things; absolutely perfect. There’re no errors or mistakes with Him. Secondly, don’t ask unwise or foolish questions.

Recognise that at a certain point in our lives, we need more knowledge, because when trouble strikes at that time of ignorance, we pay dearly for our ignorance. The situation could be directly connected to you, or a loved one, but maybe if either you or the victim knew better, the outcome would have been different. It all boils down to one thing: knowledge. So, don’t become overwhelmed to the point that your prayers are all about, “Oh God, why?”

Don’t ask such irrelevant questions, and never think He’s to blame; He often had nothing to do with it. Rather, recognise His perfection; thank Him for always doing all things right, and then determine to know the Word, pressing forward with the knowledge of His Word to change the situations that lie ahead.

Your ability to live a victorious, joyous and prosperous life is dependent on how much of God’s Word you know and live by. Consistently inundate your spirit, soul and mind with spiritual information from God’s Word.

PRAYER
Dear Lord, your faithfulness is ever sure; you’re without injustice; you’re perfect and true in all your ways! Thank you for your grace and wondrous works in my life. Your Word works effectually in me, causing me to be fruitful in every good work, to your praise and glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY: Psalm 18:30* [As for] God, his way [is] perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he [is] a buckler to all those that trust in him.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES WEDNESDAY, 10TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨ DON’T OBSERVE “LYING VANITIES” ✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES WEDNESDAY, 10TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ DON’T OBSERVE “LYING VANITIES” ✨

They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy (Jonah 2:8).

Did you ever read about Jonah? A great fish had swallowed him up after he disobeyed the Lord’s instruction to go preach in Nineveh. However, while in the belly of the fish, he thanked God for delivering him, even though he was still in trouble.

Jonah wasn’t saying, “O God, deliver me” or “O God, I know you’ll deliver me from this trouble,” no. Rather, he said, “Thank you Lord, because you’ve delivered me.” It takes faith to talk like that. Read the entire story in Jonah chapter 2; it’s very inspiring!

Jonah was conscious of the mercies of God, and that inspired faith in him. He said, “They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy” (Jonah 2:8). This is what many haven’t learnt; they gripe over the pain in their bodies; they complain about their situation when what they should do is declare words of faith. They get overwhelmed by the symptoms of sickness and disease; they observe lying vanities.

A lying vanity is anything that isn’t consistent with the Word of God for you as a new creation in Christ Jesus. Refuse to observe lying vanities. Those who observe lying vanities forsake their mercies; they frustrate the grace of God, thereby short-circuiting the power of God from working in their behalf.

Perhaps you’re a lady, and you’ve been told the baby in your womb can’t come out alive, or maybe it’s a tumour or disease, and you can even feel it in your body; refuse to be moved. Rather, declare who you are in Christ; affirm the Word. Exodus 23:26 says, “There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil”; hold on to that Word; make it your daily confession. Declare that you’re in health, and Christ in you destroys every trace of sickness, disease and infirmity from your body.

Never let what you see, how you feel, or anything contrary to God’s Word run your life. Give thought, attention and focus only to the Word. You’re greater than any trouble in your body, or in the world. You’ve already overcome everything that tries to work against you. 1 John 4:4 says, “Ye are of God little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.” Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
The Lord is my Rock! In Him I stand secure forever; He’s my all, and in Him I trust, because there’s no impossibility with Him. His dominion endures throughout all generations. My faith in His Word is unshakeable, for His Word is true, and never fails. Hallelujah!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TUESDAY, 9TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨ YOU WERE BORN WITH RIGHTEOUSNESS ✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES TUESDAY, 9TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ YOU WERE BORN WITH RIGHTEOUSNESS ✨

For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).

Righteousness is the nature of God, and a gift from God, but in the actual, vital sense, it’s a gift to the ungodly. The Christian didn’t “receive” the gift of righteousness; the Christian was born righteous. Paul’s submission about righteousness in the Book of Romans, and as you’d find in chapter 5 verse 17, is a generic argument on the legality of righteousness as it was accounted to Abraham, and therefore to all of us who believe in Jesus Christ. We may believe it’s given to us as a gift, but that’s not all that God gave us as a gift.

For instance, Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Eternal life is given to sinners, not Christians; that’s what a sinner receives to become a Christian. A Christian is one who has eternal life; not one who’s “receiving” the gift of eternal life. The Bible says anyone who believes, has eternal life. Once a man believes, right away, eternal life starts up in his spirit. So, eternal life is no longer being “gifted” to him; he was born into it. He came alive with it, when he received Christ.

It’s like when you were born of your mother; you didn’t have to first receive the gift of life to become human; you came into existence with life—the human life! Otherwise, you wouldn’t have been said to be alive. Imagine someone saying, “Now that the baby is born, she needs to receive the gift of the human life”; that’ll be absurd.

Likewise, legally, the whole world has been given the gift of righteousness; it’s this gift, when received, that enables one stand in the presence of God without guilt, fear, inferiority, or condemnation. When the gift of eternal life is received, one is born of God with this life at work in him.

Abraham was given righteousness as a gift; he was credited with righteousness for his believing. But the man who’s born again was born righteous; he can’t, therefore, be “receiving” as a gift, something that he’s born with; he’s born with the life and nature of God. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for inspiring in me the consciousness of my righteousness, which has placed me in a vantage position, far above the troubles, decadence and negativities in the earth realm. I manifest your righteousness in all I do, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES MONDAY, 8TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ HE KNOWS ALL THINGS ✨

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (John 14:26).

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of knowledge; He’s the embodiment of all knowledge. No wonder Jesus said, “…he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” So, not only does the Holy Spirit teach you, He reminds you of things you already know; things He already taught you. That means there’s no chance of you losing information of what you were taught.

There may have been times you tried to remember certain things; it could be something you kept, and for some reason, you couldn’t recollect where you kept it; the Holy Spirit can remind you. If you find yourself in such a situation, don’t say, “I’ve forgotten where I kept it”; or, “I can’t remember where I kept it.” Consciously train yourself not to say, “I forgot”; instead, say, “I will remember!”

When you’re trying to recollect a thought, an idea, information, or whatever it is, say, “I will remember”; because you’re conscious that the Holy Spirit will bring it to your remembrance. It’s part of His ministry to help you retain knowledge and information in your spirit, and bring that information to your consciousness when occasion demands.

With the Holy Spirit, you can never walk in darkness or be confused about anything in life. There’s absolutely no topic or subject He’s deficient in. He knows everything about God and also knows everything about natural things. He knows everything about Infotech, Law, Science, History, Business, the Stock Market, Aeronautics, Fashion, Cookery, the Internet and anything you can imagine. He can teach you better than the Professors of the world from all the best universities put together.

Remember, He made everything in the world; He can give you a piece of His knowledge that you need to help change your world for the better. He’s more than willing to share everything He knows with you, if you’d let Him. Recognise and take advantage of this aspect of His unique ministry in your life, and you’ll be an oasis of knowledge, and a fountain of solutions in a dark, needy, and ignorant world.

CONFESSION: I have the best teacher, in the person of the Holy Spirit. He teaches me all things and causes me to function in the full and exact knowledge of God. Hallelujah!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES SUNDAY, 7TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris TOPIC ✨ PREVAIL FIRST IN PRAYER ✨

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES SUNDAY, 7TH OCTOBER . Pastor Chris
TOPIC ✨ PREVAIL FIRST IN PRAYER ✨

When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them (Acts 5:33).

In our opening scripture, Peter had ministered the Gospel to a group of people, and rather than give their hearts to Christ, the people wanted to kill him. That’s why it’s important that before you go out to preach, you intercede for the people you’re going to be ministering to; pray that your message will be accepted and won’t just be a witness against them.

It brings to mind the experience of Stephen in the Book of Acts. He ministered a powerful sermon, full of excellent theology and history. Yet when he was done, the Bible says the people “…were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth” (Acts 7:54). They shut their ears to his message and ran upon him to kill him, and eventually stoned him to death.

Just because the message is great doesn’t mean people will be moved enough to give their hearts to Christ; they didn’t in Stephen’s case. So, before you embark on any evangelical mission or outreach programme, prevail first in prayer, because it’s about the souls of men and the impact the message will have on them, resulting in their salvation.

When you intercede like that, the love of God in you wells up, striving against sin, Satan, and the forces of darkness, and the souls of men are rescued from evil. At that moment, you’re God’s champion; the deliverer.

When you’ve succeeded in bringing them out of that darkness in the spirit, you’ll know it. Then you’re ready to go. Your message may just be for five or twenty minutes, it doesn’t matter; while you’re at it, they’ll be getting convicted and crying out for salvation. This is important. Learn to prevail first in prayer.

CONFESSION
I’m an effective minister of the New Testament, ministering life to everyone I come in contact with. Even now, I pray for lost souls around the world, that the message of salvation profits them today. Their hearts are ready to receive, as they reach out in faith to embrace the righteousness of Christ in the Gospel, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY: Obadiah 1:21 And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD'S.

Luke 22:31-32* And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired [to have] you, that he may sift [you] as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

James 5:16 AMP Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].
